Just goes to show that so many Forumfallers lack to comprehension to discuss or debate certain topics in a productive way without resulting to personal insults and hate speech.

Personally, I think the hate speech should be allowed - it gives good insight to the age and amount of education (or lack thereof) of the individuals using it.

i think hatespeech is part of it. Sure weve got alot of prejudices and false views here on offtopic. They are all horrible. No matter if it is the discrimination of Races, sexuality or nationality. Discriminating Welfare receivers and Mexicans is for me as bad as saying 10 hanging gays would be a beautiful picture.

Ive read insults here about jews and all kind of minorities worse than recent comments on gays. And concerning me they are all terrible. Those are most times jokes. Jokes i do myself....when chilling with friends or sitting in a bar. But not in a public forum where you dont know anyone personally.
My opinion is that many comments are very funny. They just doesnt belong here. Its way too anonymous. You never know whats for real and what not.
And sometimes it even happens that someone is discriminating and doesnt even know (like in 80% of the threads about obama and in every single thread about anti-discrimination laws).

Past religious threads showed that many hate speeches are for real. Just as real as pointing out that killing mexicans at the border would solve problems.
Aslong as im free to express my opinion on this fascist bullshit people write here, im totally fine with that.
Just happened to me that i got suspended for pointing out that there is many hidden/subtle racism. I had to use the n word (quoted it actually) which was my mistake.

i guess if were going to be serious i disagree with anti-hate speech polices. Of course hate speech is wrong, but we walk a fine line when any kind of speech is regulated. Of course this is a private board, adventurtine can do as they please, and I'll follow the rules (or else). To run with the example of saying homosexuality is unnatural, I think that its a legitimate point worth being discussed (although i don't know the context you made it in). Maybe someone would reply to it with a persuasive argument and the person who made the hate speech could become a little less ignorant.

Being gay or lesbian or what not is not a preference, but what you're born as, as all the evidence suggests.

Now children lets dissect this word, it is a personal feeling one of which that you can easily tune out by leaving the thread. The thread will not hunt you down and force you to read it. Just use your good common sense and read at your own risk. Some times I feel like I am the only one that uses LOGIC and good old fashion common sense in this day and age.
