What I really found the most hilarious from that whole wikipedia entry was this:

Recently Asp from the Lords of Death clan [LoD] visited the developers and played an older version of the game. This has given a lot of proof that the game is not vaporware. His reviews have helped reassure the community.

Now... I am by no means saying that this game is vaporware but I find it kind of offensive that the devs or anybody for that matter would use this person as some authorative figure of the game.

Nobody ever knew or even cared who this Asp guy was. I find it hilarious that anyone would use this person as some stamp of approval like "Ok guys Asp played this game so now you must know that everything is REAL." The guy has even admitted in the article himself that he never really followed this game. He NEVER took a part in ANY major DarkFall forum discussions and can hardly be considered a community member by any standards. Here he is guys: Asp-LoD (http://forums.darkfallonline.com/search.php?searchid=1314276) with a grand total of 5 posts.

The guy could be a dev for all we know, nothing but a ploy to create some "DarkFall publicity". Although i am not saying that is what happened, but what do they expect people exepct to think when you use a nobody to test your game. If the guy took videos and pictures of the facility and maybe a video of him actually playing the game then maybe people would have taken what this nobody had to say more seriously.

I personally played against him and his clan in Shadowbane... so I'm pretty sure Asp isn't part of a 4 year hoax to prove DF's non-vaporware status. I know that doesn't knock down what you are getting at, but I'm just noting it wasn't some trick by the devs.

Secondly, why would you care what wikipedia says it's not official information, anything you find on darkfallonline.com is the only info you can trust.

Thirdly, a june release date, although extremely unlikely, is not out of the question because they already stated that they will have a short CB before release.

the best advise I can give is to not get emotionally involved with DFO sence you have no controll over it. When (if) it somes out it will be a great day but untill then you dont torture your self weighting.

when i saw darkfall i was f'ing happy but when i saw the date they started and now... i was kinda disappointed. i know a game cant be made over nite but damn not everything can be perfect in this world... what i think is the more you try to make things perfect.. the more mistakes you will end up making

im sorry but looking through the threads i couldnt find the one where it asks if there are clan flags in the game so i posted here cause i think this thread is failed already. but notice how this flag is positioned right before entering the village so this could possibly be a flag to mark the clan that rules said villages ot outsider atleast i think so?
