Here I submit a challenge to anyone creative enough to invent/write rhymes, song lyrics, or prose about any lore that you might invent for Darkfall or our own planet Earth. Fantasy themes are preferred, I guess. The following is a sort of black metal song lyric that I came up with today. Please do these as serious attempts and save your flaming and joking for Off-Topic section of the forums, please. I am curious to see what some of you might come up with. Thanks. Note that I am not a very good musician and I am not good enough musician to make a band (nor am I inclined to do it) so I might as well put this out into the world somewhere before its lost in the obscurity of my mind... Please do not plagiarize here, that would be useless.

DUST OF DAYS [black metal song lyrics]

Ancient memory woke its spirit,
sleeping for so very long,
twisted roots burgeoned with rage,
angry inner life encouraged,
the great tree surged with the might of ages.

Its roots burst from soil,
driving through layers of earth, to air,
with profound mirth,
braced against the earth,
strength lifts the entire mass of tree.

Rise up and move over land, and flee,
for once old world is now raped,
by creatures of ill-mind -- spread as many --
breeders that take without returning, hostile to other lives,
spirits of the forest fall away into Night.

Driven away, back and away,
nursing their wounds, a crying song,
"the Olde Ways are gone,"
oaths once taken are lost to time,
druid protectors are decayed with the dust of days.
