Is there an easy way to do this?

My PS skills suck.

I usually use eraser with less than 100% opacity and then just go by feeling and ctrl+z. It's maybe not an easy as much as a primitive solution.

What context are you talking about?

If you just want a rectangle with rounded corners use the shape--> rounded rectangle tool to make a rectangle with rounded corners. If you want to make a selection with rounded corners, use the aforementioned tool on it's own layer, then use the magic wand to select the area it comprises.

Thanks, that should cover it.

So simple, not quite sure why I didn't figure it out.

Much appreciated!
