The Dwarven Animation is the best clip of graphics I've seen for a MMORPG in my life!
- You can see the muscles ripple.
- The reflection in the armor and the shield.
- The scale is perfect.
- The little slit in the Shield!
- The Dwarf has Fingers!
It's just amazing!
I like the style. It's unique... almost cartoonish. It looks like what I might expect to see in a fantasy game.
I was watching the animation and trying to figure out how to describe it, and I'd have to say it looks like a cross between a MMOLG fantasy character and a Quake character. Very appropriate.

Yes... I saw that last night, some beans poped in and gave it to us...
All I have to say is that animation is AMAZING!
I can't belive that runs on a geforce 1, whoever got it to do that must be some sort of god!
And the shadows, it casts shadows! Even on its self!

Wow! I was thinking they'd have like normal animations, and nothing "groundbreaking" but boy I was wrong. AWESOME animations, the details and everything is just so cool. The way he walks, the size and everything is just perfect!
However, there is one thing I'd like to point out, the thumb (finger) of the dwarf is not around the axe, so he's basically just carrying the axe with 4 fingers, and just letting the thumb do basically nothing, he's not gripping it or whatever =)
But keep up the good work and make the elves even more awesome! =)

It's an .avi file. Try to use your Windows Media Player.

Looks nice. Very nice.
Lots of people say "gameplay over graphics" but lts face it, if a game is ugly its not as fun to play.

Yep the animation was amazing

*drools even though the model still looks cartoonish due to the "texturing" problem i think, the animation looks awesome, the axe is nice too, and thats just how a dwarf should look(model wise atleast), he looks like a short little midget with some power, not some downsized human, great job guys

Quick note, the muscles are not rippling its the shadow of the axe that appears to be causing that effect. Same thing with the armor reflection, it was just the shadows.
Cartoonish - Its a Dorf, I mean their whole body is suppose to be miss proportionate. I think they did a great job in making it look real, and IM sure if it was in an environment it would have looked even more so. Although I couldnt see the eyes, which made it seem a bit unreal.
Moving Armor - This is a concept ive seen recently introduced in EQ. But their armor doesnt move anywhere near as well as the one in the image. I would really like to see a cloak or something.
Walking - He actually walks like a heavy set dorf, in armor, as if each foot step is leaving behind a deep impression.
Graphics - The material on the inside of the shield looks cool, the beard looks neat, I would have liked to see some sort of design in the armor like a relief or something, but for basic go kick butt armor, it looks great!
Shadows - This really makes this animation come alive. I just wonder how much its going to effect the speed...
I cant wait to see the rest of the races!
