Looking for any clans recruiting out there. I've tried like 5 or 6 clans through their different sites and what not. getting a little tired of signing up on a crap load of different forums i will probably never use. so far though all that I received one response where they said something like great welcome to the clan. Then a few hours later I get another email saying on secondary review of your application your membership has been revoked. lol so im kind of tired of actively trying to find a clan to join.

Let me give you some advice. When you apply to a clan, make sure to research it well before you send off an application. Decide on which clan you want to join and make an active effort of joining. Most clans take a few days to respond to your application, the fact that our clan responded immediately does not mean that it's standard for clans to do that. So be patient with your applications and don't spam them to multiple clans.
There are a lot of fools out there who try to join more than one clan in the hopes that it will help them get into beta sooner. Not only is this notion untrue, but being caught in multiple clan beta lists will reduce your chance of entry into beta testing.
That said, when you apply to multiple clans it is not unheard of for these clans to share their application lists to check and see if people are just whoring their selves out to the fastest respondant. Most clans, mine included, appreciate people who want to join their clan above all others and don't even want members who are just looking for any clan. That might seem a little arrogant to you, but most of us like to keep a degree of quality control in our recruitment. So be a little more patient in the future, and maybe I won't tell you to take a hike.
There are some guilds out there that are large and have lower standards for recruiting though. You might find some of them to your liking.

Exactly.
Take your time and decide what YOU wanna do in DF, then find a clan that have the same goals as you have. Maybe you wont even have to have a clan?

Er, yeah... I think "applications" are one of the great fallacies of gaming clans. They're not like job applications. You don't go through a listing and apply to every clan with the word black, dark, or knight.
Just take a little time and figure out what you want out of a clan. First and foremost, what do you do when you game? Do you roleplay? socialize OOC? A combination of the two?
Also, how much of your gametime is socializing, and how much is "active?" (By active I mean leveling, farming, PvP'ing, general advancement in the game) Find a clan that shares your level of dedication as well as your goals and aspirations.
When you find a few clans that have filtered through, just chill in their IRC with them, or join them in-game if you happen to be able to. Remember, in the end, a clan is its members - join the clan whose members you enjoy spending time with the most.
Hope that helped? If not... Eleador ftw, check us out ;)

What clan I join is as important as what game I play. Its the people that make the game fun for years.
If you have played other MMOs you probably know someone here in these forums give them a shout.

I've played tons of MMO's yet I know no one here in these forums... :ninja:
Mainly a solo'er though, and usually tended to hang with RL pals in other MMO's. Damn, does that make me anti-social in MMO gaming?

To be completely honest, yes.
The problem is that people try to join a clan they know nothing about and or never gamed with that clan. Rule of thumb is that the better clans/guilds don't recruit board warriors on forums, recruitment is done in game only and the person who is recruited has to be sponsored and jump through a few hoops; as time passes he is more and more trusted and eventually might be given a full membership.
Don't get me wrong, I am not necessairly saying that you can't look for a clan before the game or find an interest in a clan even though you know no one in that clan; maybe it's their play style and leadership that attracted you to them in the first place. Just remember that vast majority of the clans look at potential recruits as either assets or hinderance, you need to show them what you can do for them and what you can offer to the clan.
And stick to just one clan, if anyone in either guild finds out that would probably be more then enough reason to get you kicked out.

I only applied to 3 I believe just kind of fishing you know seeing whats out there and then I could come back later and see what was going on. Looking back though it might not have been the greatest idea but I was relatively new to the forums then. Also I thought if you were in a Clan it said it next to your name on the forum and then you were unable to join another, am I wrong about that?

can someone answer my question though, you're not officially in a clan as far as the darkfall beta/forums are concerned unless it says it on your forum name here?

Just post it here what you are looking for, and a clan will appear....
Or something?

Not quite. I'm in KoE, I just haven't gotten around to joining the KoE group on these forums - actually I just have to get my leader to let me into the group I think ;)
I guess the tags under forum names are a good estimate though.

Hehehe, Septus is lazy. And to the OP, the group name on the forums is something that you can elect to show after you join a clan that has a group on these forums. It's not the only method of showing which clan you belong to nor is it a guaranteed way to get into DF beta.

Not necessarily.
Mangix you should look into Ruthless.
Why would you even mention their name!?

Anyways, when looking for a clan you have to decide what race you are playing first since a lot of clans are only specific races. Then I suggest you look at the recruiting threads (http://forums.darkfallonline.com/forumdisplay.php?f=11) or at the clan list (http://darkfallinfo.com/index.php?page=Clans).
