Since I got some weird-ass pm from whoopin asking me to go watch this movie I'm going to but I make no promises. While you are one of the few people in KGB I am able to tolerate for more than 17 seconds (but not really any extended period of time), your association with KGB has already given me the impression that this movie is going to have a lot of carebear bullshit, and bad, Holrom-esque pvp in it.

And the videos would have been cool if the content were better. The fact that there was only one to two instances of you fighting a decent opponent (a couple X or Tenth, not sure which, for a few seconds in the 2nd vid and one templar from a hoe sub) is pretty sad and really not worth the effort of making the movie. The technical "movie" aspects of the vids was fairly good but, like I said, the content was total shit.

You spent 90% of the movie killing SM and Yakuza. Big fucking whoop. And what's more, not even half of those were against even numbers or active opponents.

Dig up some films of you fighting people 1v1 (I know we ran into each other more than once in DSS so there's at least something decent to watch that isn't you killing afk newbs) or running against evenly matched opponents at the very least and then it'll be worth the 5 minutes to watch.

Been two months since release so Im gonna wrap this up with some relocated quoted criticism from other satisfied customers:

lol :) nah i actually thought ur bane clips were waaay more interesting than any other vid posted on these forums recenty. The whole beginning time warp thing was a little confusing .. but it went with the music very nicely.

Who was afk in that movie? The only thing that could be considered a gank was the warlock and that was just [censored] hilarious.

There was some decent footage. Best part is that you're probably the first person to record and post themself exploiting!

Definately didn't live up to the hype, but the soundtrack was probably the best of any video I've seen.
Whoopin is possibly the best ganker, ever. Not in a bitchy way at all, the dude just knows his [censored]. [censored] pro in GvG and any other PvP setting as well.

Man out of all the people ive met over my shadowbane career i havent met many people that are as talented and genuine as whoopin. This guy is a class act in every respect of the phrase. Im glad hes in my guild, the rebuttal made me laugh out loud and Exultus getting pwned several times while afk running a very complex macro was probably the most enjoyable seens imo. This video rocked and to all you guys hating on the video if you have never attempted making a video before its not as easy as you might think, its very time consuming and requires a great deal of patience with the crappy sb recorder. Mad props to avenge. WHOOPIN!

The part i prefered is the city camping part, there is here material to compare your own playstyle to the well known Avenge s one (the intensive use of pots, the use of buildings to break LoS and so on)

The rest of the video shows fights that are cool. I agree with someone (in mourning s forum perhaps) that said that there is a story missing here . Maybe more comments could spice up these parts like what bane was it , what was the purpose (revenge for a betrayal...or an attempt to resist to a server zerg invasion or something). Just throwing out ideas.

Good length, 8 minutes 30, 4 parts. The transition between each parts is cool, the music choice fits well the pace of the action. It basically summerises what you can do in SB in an Assassin point of view(open tree pking/ city camping/Banes/ Pve epic ?quest? :P),mines are missing though ... nvm you are on Wrath :P.
Good camera movements especially on the bane parts
this is definately a plus to your movie (the downward spiral and the traveling 6.20/6.40 especially) , that and the 2 cameras parts (dual boxing cameras now???? :P). You clearly were thinking of the result when you were "shooting", and the result is very good esthetically (at least in my opinion)

So grats for the editing work , the material and material selection and good pre release com :P ("and you ll even see a dragon!")

I never claimed this video contained Epic fights, I did say it had action. It was from the perspective of a mage assassin doing assassin stuff in an Open PvP game. There are already countless bane videos - Ive seen enough of that junk and most are already forgotten from my PoV.

The movie was created to also entertain viewers that had no idea WTF Shadowbane was, and to show something different to those that only saw crappy bane coverage.

I dont even consider the targets that died "Killshots" when I produced this - they were all actors playing an almost unpredictable game. Its not like I "OWNED" them or anything, I kill lots of players and the ones caught on tape were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I personally like the Mantle/Stun kills - domination Whoopin caliber.

Also I wanted to include the many aspects of Shadowbane all in one movie, got buffs, Open ToL, Errant PKing, Griefing, and Banes. Theres more than one way to play Shadowbane.

I dont think there are any AFK killshots in that movie, however the Collector's Edition has a few but they are DELETED SCENES you possibly wouldve never saw if I didnt paste them together. I thought it was a good compliment to view more action from those scenes you already witnessed.

Killing underleveled chumps and catchin people slippin have always been a part of Shadowbane, Im just experienced in initiating and actually following through with missions. Also that wasnt amateur griefing - that was purposeful terrorizing and killed the same player multiple times... Im sure they were having lots of fun. That is much different that displaying 20 KS of all different unprepared and doomed targets.

That vid is truely just a taste of what I am capable of and what I have done with that Neph, we all know the best stuff doesnt get recorded. In the past I have accomplished feats that surprise myself... yet most everyone quietly doesnt mention it. heh

This was an action movie to music in an Open PvP game, Ive watched it almost a hundred times while trying to optimize it for entertainment. I wasnt disappointed... it was all about the Dragon.
Its got most of the elements of this Open PvP game all wrapped up into a 9 min action music video, and it even has a Dragon. If you wanted more action or to know the lyrics of the songs - the Collector's Edition delivers.

Even got many opinions that the music was well done, and compliments on the camera angles and lack of too many cuts... some detailed aspects of that movie surprised me during review and if carefully scrutinized will reveal that this is a SB movie masterpiece - even the first video is an Alchemy Mastery demonstration. heh

Only time will tell which old SB videos get watched, proliferated, and remembered - I even advertised this clutter on multiple forums... this movie has got the prerequisites for that potential.

I'm sorry but I've spent my smallest amount of SB time on Mourning. Mostly known on Death server 4 years back for playing Crisper, aka priest that had 2 deaths for 7 months. Vengeance is my second. My Mourning fame doesnt compare to those 2. Did you even play on the 2 best servers? Do you realise the guilds you fight today are the ones we destroyed on Mourning and they ran off to your server?

As for shadowbane, meh. I was never pleased by it. The concept was great and all, but it just never grabbed me. I only played for a short time before I quit. The only reason I played UO for so long was because I had been there from day one.

Yeah no shit, The Black Chump guild is proud of their WoW clutter accomplishments... after clicking that link I saw something about the chump's e-marriage while I couldnt stop laughing at this random image (http://www.black-company.org/index.php?ind=gallery&op=foto_show&ida=355). What a waste of time.

I mash my keyboard buttons just as good as the rest, I always streamline my UI and hotkeys for optimal performance - its a prerequisite to compete in Quake and I follow the same ideas for any game controls.

As for shadowbane, meh. I was never pleased by it. The concept was great and all, but it just never grabbed me. I only played for a short time before I quit. The only reason I played UO for so long was because I had been there from day one.

Ah well...at least SB was far more entertaining than DAOC...though not by much.
You may have done better and had more fun in SB if you dropped the RP clutter and went with being a straight up Player Killer & Ganker. SB is the one of the best Open PvP games post UO and its not a game for the weak. It keeps my interest until AoC is finally released.

OK I admit, after re-reading some of my latest clutter its clear to me that I may be intimidating future replies fearing abuse (even saw poor Tonka read my reply then slip back into the shadows). So Ill RP nice for now even though its hard to resist using SB posting tactics.

This Kombat concept has been done before for other games, but this was a first for SB and was the most entertaining SB duel video I have ever seen. Even tossed in some nostalgia for those that happen to recognize it. I also got no music complaints, I think thats a good thing.

UO was interesting, but unfortunately it has also become a piece of shit. I rarely RP, only recently have I started that. I was an original UO PKer with all the stat loss shit and all. So dont think I didnt do that in Shadowbane...I just wasnt impressed.

Gongratufugnlations SB power player. You got the SB end game "duel" of all time recorded and displayed with exuberant pride. Totally disregarding the fact that #1. Even SB players say your video basically induced sleep. Also disregard the fact that your entertained by the idea that you have some clue as to what TBC is based on your encounter with some other guild named TBC in SB.
