FFAs are fun, but they're overdone and like everything in this game, they overly cater to single player skill. Most of the time, a big FFA involves people running from each other not actually fighting. There are also plenty of other events that already hinge around the 1v1 setup. This version of the FFA tries to blend in teamwork along with an objective.

Free for All: King of the Pyramid

Ever played King of the Hill before? How about King of the Pyramid?

This mini-game for Darkfall is a total Free for All with a surprise reward. Everyone will group into teams of 2. You are scored by how long you're on top of the pyramid as a team. Everything goes. Everyone will start at the same point away from the pyramid, and the first one there will have time to set up defenses and get a head start on the score. If everyone doesn't die, the event will last 20 minutes. The team with the most time on top of the pyramid, at the end of 20 minutes, will be the winner.

The gear cap is full plate and R60 weapons.

We haven't actually run this yet, because our original plan got derailed by a scheduling problem, so I don't have any lessons learned. However, I think the biggest problem is going to be scoring the event. I'll update this thread with lessons learned when we run it.

If you would like help hosting or running your own version of this event, please PM me on these forums or contact me in game on Kesl Vrys.
