Well, you ever notice how people who are new members to the forums quickly become members of BKB? Now, it is always possible that some of them are previous members from thier guild who have only recently registered to these forums. However, I can confidently say that BKB also PMs people when they register and recruit them.

Naw bro, I ain't never seen no shit like that. All the games I've played, if you didn't belong to the clan that owned whatever area you were in....you you had some killing coming. In AC, I raided Uziz constantly because of idiot newbs hanging out in town like that. I could kill 3 to 5 of them before everyone really knew what was going on.

I've never played a MMO that wasn't FFA PvP, those and FPS. Maybe that's why I get such a nice chuckle out of some of the guilds here.

It's the complete lack of standards in who you recruit which makes such mass recruitment problematic. If you fill your guild with illiterate pre-teens, the few good ones you find won't stick around. BKB is a perfect example of this.

During the cold war, the USSR mass produced military hardware, guns, planes, tanks, etc... The US built smart systems and have far less to show for their trouble in terms of "bulk" military hardware. It was just two different philosophies - there wasn't really a wrong or right way to do it. I mean, sure an F-16 could probably take down 3 Mig's but could it take down 10? The Russians were gambling that they could not.

I looked at the clan forums, read a few charters of the ones that sounded interesting, liked what i saw in BKB, and then applied.

I was going to turn down BKB's offer when they asked me in (I said I'd wait until the game started to join a clan),but I decided to join them after a day's thought because I thought they seemed like a decent group of people. I never joined them because of beta as I didn't know until a month ago that BKB even had a beta key,and I've now been in BKB pretty much since I joined these forums.
When the beta comes,if I don't get in I won't be bothered. I'll be glad that some of BKB got in; they'll have plenty of stories to tell when the NDA gets lifted. Just knowing a beta is out there will be sufficient to keep me happy.

I'm 100% loyal to the clan I join. You either kick me or the clan dies,there's no leaving clans in this soul.

Great replies. We are really cut. See, if you had of just ignored it, no one could bring this point up. But since you seem to have comments for everything else, yet you suddenly don't have even slightly good answers for these points (I mean come on, an eight year old could come up with these responses.... I've been a part of BKB since around the time SWG launched. Its an outstanding guild full of awesome people. If you are looking for a guild that is made up of people that put "fun" first, then BKB is the guild for you. Most of the members are really good pvp'ers, and also cover all other aspects of gaming fairly well. Everyone helps one-another as much as they can, and BKB is good about keeping emails and updated information coming to its members. Rarely have I seen any new members turn out horrible, since most the people that join BKB are doing so to have fun; instead, of being governed by harsh rules or set play times.

Ok since you want a little more details on how those dates work

BKB starting in WWII on that date ,you ask how ,we had members of the game involved in the closed beta testing that joined us Actually they were the ones that suggested we form a squad for that game .If you know anything about WWII online that closed beta testing like DF( hopefully) happened way prior to the official launch date.

SWG had three several stages of beta and at least one level alpha testing that I was aware of . we had two active members involved in the alpha level several a few more in Beta 1 and well it increased on Beta two and three which was near the end a open beta testing .

The dates in fact are a little on the conservative side , my math is fine , but thanks for your concern .


As far as our guilds join date on this site . We( some senior members) have been tracking this game as well a several others (Dark & light, D&D as we had members in beta but after beta testing felt that those games was not something we wished to pursue as a guild)since the summer of 05 and honeslty we( mostly me ) guessed wrongabout how close DF beta was.We talked about a launch in great deal this summer( June) if it was time to officaly start a guild here .I pushed the issue for the start this June .I thought that the game was closer to beta, sadly I was wrong .So now like everyone else we wait with a very few updates .This was something we learned in WWII online to avoid at all cost if possible as that ws one hell of a long wait and not productive to the squad.

for what it's worth thrill, there's more than an equivelant amount of people who find bkb tactics laughable, than people that make up bkb...a lot of them either gave up on darkfall a long time ago and don't pay attention to these boards anymore... or otherwise don't acknowledge their existence any more than forcing them to make long walks back to their empty corpses.

i can remember slews of zergs and "alliances" from multiple games, remembering the names of the guilds is another thing. there are a handfull of really skilled guilds that roll in 1 or 2 full groups who pose no threat other than anihilating everything they come across whom i can easily remember, as do a huge portion of the overall pvp playerbase...from games i've never even played before, just heard stories about from mutual acquaintances...what side would i rather be on? the one that's hated for reasons that're memorable.

Well, you ever notice how people who are new members to the forums quickly become members of BKB? Now, it is always possible that some of them are previous members from thier guild who have only recently registered to these forums. However, I can confidently say that BKB also PMs people when they register and recruit them.
