The Search and Destroy Agency was formed many moons ago, approaching 7 years now. We orginally formed for a MMO game called Dragon Empires and eagerly awaited its arrival. I was fortunate enought to alpha test it. But when it failed to make it past beta, SDA went on to play many games together; Shadowbane, Dark age of Camelot, World of Warcraft, EVerquest 2, to name but a few.
When SDA played World of Warcraft we had over 450 members at one stage. However we became mind numbingly bored with WoW, the tedious 40 man instances where you would grind hours a day, days a week just in case something dropped. We ran a DKP system, but all that it generates is hard feelings among people. And so we left in search of a better game.
SDA was orginally formed to be a bounty hunting guild, and that is where we would still like to be, but we can turn our hand to almost any kind of role within a MMO. A few of us are still playing EQ2, Nagafen PvP server. More still are beta testing Vangaurd, and we are forever increasing the intensity of our searching for the ultimate MMORPG.
We are primarily an English speaking guild, with players from every corner of the world. We only recruit mature players (16+) , and in our player base we have players as old as 50+. However if a player proves themselves to be mature enough, we may sometimes make exceptions in our recruitment if someone can vouch for them.
