First Monthly Tournament

Time and Date: FRIDAY, 5/27/2011 @ 10:30PM EST
Buy-In: 10,000g
Open To: Everyone

-Go to Pokerstars.net (NOT .com)
-Download the program
-Create Account (use your darkfall name whenever possible)
-Click the "Home Games" tab
-"Join a Poker Club" and for the ID and password:
Club ID: 442710
Password: darkfall

-Once you've done this, Contact me in game (Dest Locke) and give me a bag with in game/pokerstars name on the bag with the gold inside it. Buy-ins can be dropped off in Andruk, or other locations as needed. I will travel to pick up 5+ people's buy-ins. I encourage you to collect buy-ins from your guild and help me out! Once I have your buy-in, I will approve you to the club (league), and you may join the tournament.

That's all there is to it. We've run a few of these already in our alliance, and they are a lot of fun and work very seamlessly. We figured it was time to up the bar and open them to the whole server. This first one will probably be smaller than the ones to follow since I'm only giving 5 days notice. Each one to follow will be a full month notice. Buy-ins month to month may change, and there might also be other prizes. Also, after probably 6 months or so, Ruff Knights will sponsor a freeroll or something like that.

Vent will be available for anyone who is inclined to come on.

- 5% goes to Ruff Knights Alliance Event Fund

- Payouts will be based on # of participants

I stole the idea from someone else (EU guy, I think), but the past 2 weeks, our in-alliance games have been great. 3 tourneys last Saturday (2k, 5k, and 10k buy-in), 2 last night (5k and 10k), all with at least 10 people. Good times.

He leaves his toon ingame pretty much 24 hours a day. Try sending anyone in RK a tell and they can help you get a hold of him or someone else who can help you with the tourny stuff.

Thanks to everyone who participated. Vent was a little sketchy there, we didn't distribute the information well enough; I'll work out the kinks for the next one. Also might try a couple of different settings.

Barring some unforeseen circumstances, the next one will be June 24th @ 10:30pm EST. Official announcement to come. If you are interested, please take the initiative to ask around and collect buy-ins from your clan/alliance. It will make it much easier overall!
