Subject
This is less a recruitment thread then more a general "Hello, we`re around!", mainly because Darkfall is just one of the games we "set on our list" at the moment. Although we like the idea of having a realy PvP-focussed game Darkfall has not even a publisher....
For sure recruitment might be important if this game indeed will get released somewhen and we decide to really play it, but we have a quite large community backing us up, so for us recruitment pretty much depends on how the beta will look like.
So far its not even sure that we will play this game at all - setting up a guild and starting to gather members without having played the beta and actually 'felt' the gameplay is nothing I want to invest much time in at the moment.

About us
FAnG is a group of dedicated Gamers, founded in 2001 as a fusion between the UKish Counterstrike-Clan Furious Angels and the german gaming community next Generation. We like playing MMOs and mainly focus on the PvP parts of it. Only exception lately is World of Warcraft were we almost solely concentrate on our PvE-progress in several high-lvl instances - However you might call our gamestyle 'results-oriented' - we like winning and being the best and we tend to achieve that in the games or on the servers we play. Apart from our Wow Guild 'Furious' we played / play Neocron under the Tag 'FAnG', SWG and Planetside as 'Furious Angels'. As well we have some CS, Quake4 and Unreal-Servers going without being involved in any kind of leagues here.
At regular intervals we arrange community meetings, so far mostly in UK or Germany.
If you want to know more about us, just click the pictures at the beginning and the end of this text.

About me
As you might have noticed, even after trying for several years my english still is not the best. But leading an international Community like ours with members from Denmark, Israel, France, Austria, Germany, Finland, Czechia, USA, etc has the advantage that actually everyone speaks enough english to be understood and most members dont even notice my german accent
I am 24 years and whenever not playing or browsing our forums I unfortunately have to learn for my business studies. Currently im still playing Planetside and really would like this (or another game) to cure me from my Addiction to Auraxis after spending more then two years on it.

Our structure
In any game we played we were known as skilled teamplayers, yet chaotic, anarchistic, unorganized (again: wow is an exception) PvPers, and we wont handle it differently. The ones that spend most time ingame, the most experienced and dedicated members will lead the guild, the best Fighters will command our troops in PvP situations. This 'hierarchy' if you want to call it like this is something we let emerge in every game and is not something we want to block or inhibit by setting up complex rule-systems, pre-defined ranks or something like this.
Our little philosophy is and was always the same for the last years, and so far it worked well for us: Chaos! (http://www.fa-gaming.com/23-Philosophy.html)

Our Goals
Talking about goals without having played the game yet is always difficult. Roleplay was never something we were really good with - not because the different languages, but more because we like to fight more then to talk.
Therfor we are interested in the PvP aspects of every game. Skill means for us mainly: Movement, Aiming, Tactic, Teamwork, less the skill you need for games like World of Warcraft, Everquest etc, although we play those as well.

Anyways, I hope this game to turns out as fun as it currently looks, and I guess I´ll see a few of you ingame then. Im looking forward to it!
