We've been aware of the performance issues on the EU servers since they started last week. While these issues remains you may experience random latency during gameplay.
The problem has to do with a Storage Area Network hardware failure and it's something our hosting partner needs to fix. We've been in constant contact with them and they're waiting on replacement parts which we are told were expected today but did not arrive so now we're looking at tomorrow. In the meanwhile we're doing all we can to work around this.
Performance is an extremely serious issue with us and we're constantly working on improvements. Apart from dealing with this specific issue, we are currently working on major performance upgrades for both servers to be added during the upcoming expansion.
We sincerely apologize for these problems. We'll take stock after the current hardware issue is addressed and reimburse accordingly.
