What program you using ? I like the wallpapers, but the fonts you are using don't go with the images themselves. Oh and the planet with the darkfall spiral, rework the spiral so it fits perfectly the planet, kinda edgy atm.

Glad to hear you like it. Yeah, the fonts might not go with the images but these are the best fonts I at the moment could find, others would have been way too ugly. I just need to download more fonts.

I knew exactly that it was l2 charachter, and that might be a half reason why I chose it. But in the end it fited well with the picture. At least I think so.

the only real interesting news is

seems to be the background to the new quest and dungeon system

i guess it will be faction based and by go deeper and deeper into one questchain u lock the doors to other faction quests as reward u gain access to higher tier quests and rewards and who know maybe even the prestige class system somehow linked to questchains and faction standing

seems they try get more rpg in this mmo at least to give the sheeps some content

and we all know a server of only wolfes canot survive so everything that attract sheeps is good

an honest first effort, but it looks pretty bad.
Especially when you look at the text for darkfall in every image, you didnt even blur out the jagged lines, same with the darkfall female mirdain. Needs some more work tbh

I liked the longer ears for elves that WoW started, but if the models looked like the OP art i think a lot of guys might get distracted and forget to left click

With any art you used in them you need permission from the copyright author before you produce 'derivative' works from them.

With the Darkfall image AV has specifically noted that community publishers can use them for derivative works.

With any of the other anime you borrowed, I doubt you would have such permission.

There are two ways to get around this:

1) Use a character modeling program to create your own models. You can get them on easy mode now days with things like 'poser'.

2) Network in places like deviant art and get permission from the copyright authors before creating derivative works.

The convention when making derivative works is in the description you MUST acknowledge the original author.

So even if the AV one you should note: "This work contains imagery from Aventurine AV from their game, Darkfall - www.darkfallonline.com"

Obviously fan art often gets around this. Deviant Art is riddled with photoshoppers cutting and pasting work and giving them nice backgrounds.

However there is a fine line. For instance if you borrow say a Dragonball Z bit of art and make a fan picture for them I doubt they would care.

But if you borrow a bit of Dragonball Z art and then make a Darkfall picture out of it that is a different matter. At the very least in this instance you should respect the author and reference them.

I guess that I like both styles about equally. The only gripe that I have with "cute" MMORPGs is that most characters look alike. If there is a lot of character customization to make everyone look different, I don't mind playing them.
