The Legion of Agon is a highly PvP envolved guild taht is currently recruiting, and is looking for intelligent, cooperative, and active players. The Agonian Legion is not the guild for you if you are a wuss, are un-intelligent, anti-social, uncooperative, selfish, or too morally inclined. If you are strong, intelligent, people friendly, cooperative, devoted, and somewhat shrewd then this guild is perfect for you. The Agonian Legion does things other clans don't for their members, including giving small wages, guild perks and services, as well as leadership opportunities. You might be rewarded more in joining, but guild activities are more demanding and require obedience. We are generally laid back, but wars and other guild actions require discipline and some devotion, and due to our selective membership process, quality must be better than quantity. Lastly, The Agonian Legion is a nice community to chill and hang out as well.
I. Discipline
Our main advantage, aside from that fact that we don't allow every idiot and his mother into the clan. Although, that has its bonuses, it also makes it hard to recruit large numbers of people, which requires us to make our members of the highest quality, and highest effiency. All members will be required to attend one training session every other week, although it is recommended you attend more often, in order to advance more quickly, in rank and skill, and to recieve more combat opportunities so you can be put to your full potential. In training, depending on which division you join, you will practice organizing parties quickly and correctly, forming group formations, be trained for various combat situations, and also compete against your own clannies for fun and rewards in various clan events.
Also the clan is divided into three divisions: The Navy, the Army, and the trade division. The power of the guild is broken down into the senior officers and division leader for two reasons, one, so I do not have 100% of the power in the guild. The routine is close-minded and hinders progress, if you have one person doing everything. Also I cannot micro-manage an entire guild, and it is more efficent for me to break dissipate power throughout the guild and manage the guild overall, to ensure quality within our ranks.
All of these things allow are clannies to develop beyond that of most clan's, which will give us the edge in combat, as well as politically and economically.
II. Community
As a member of TAL, you will always have someone supporting you, wathcing your back. We look to develop a close-knit group of people you can trust to help you along the way and support you wherever it is needed. Also, we are pvp based, and we will kill people that are not at war with us, but only when there is something to gain and not to stay afterwards and piss people off. We don't look for arguments or flame people for no other reason than to make our selves feel better to a random person, in a war, or anywhere else. Only insult someone if they are well deserving and your insult was well though out and would apply to the situation. No messages like "HAHAHA i pwn grieved your N@@B ass." is allowed. Messages like these generally decline reputation and status as well as the intelligence bar I will work hard to maintain. Overall, are community will be one you can trust in, that will help you succed, if you need some equipment or anything else. Although, not without effort. It is very hard to advance into officer ranks, as was intended, as those are the ranks that start recieving major benefits. So join if you are an expirienced with mmorpg's and are intelligent and willing to learn.
III. Rewards
Joining the guild does have its rewards, especially later on. As on Officer you'll recieve wage benefits, as well as transaction privelages up to the limit for your rank. As well as many combat opportunities if you prove yourself appropriate. Not only are thier wage benefits, limit increases, and combat opportunities, but there are also several other rewards. For example, you are given a mount(this will adjust depending on the rarity of mounts in the game.)Will be able to take over the training leader's position or take over a special position yourself,(more on this in a sec) as well as having your own quarters supplied to you.
IV. Special Positions
There are opportunities available for higher-ups as well. One, is that you can hold a special position. These positions can be applied for and I am the only one that can accept them as they are extremely important. These positions require you be very active and devoted, but offer many many perks. These are the most rewarded positions in the guild, and are generally time consuming. These positions include a trainer, who trains the soilders and leads training sessions, a chancellor who reviews premotions and vetos them if necessary as yet another screen for quality in our officers, a bodyguard, who supports the division leader in battle, and accountants who control transactions and eliminate corruption that could occur in the clan property withdrawl system. If you are an active player, and/or addicted to Darkfall, these positions are perfect for you.
V. Council
The council is the group of people consisting of the Senior Officers of the three divisions along with the division leaders, the chancellors and trainers of the divisions, and the clan leader. The council determines all actions the guild takes, whether or not the have the resources or neccesity to start a war, or enough to gain from it. The council reviews promotions of officers; the council also reviews the finances of the guild, proposes new guild actions, and reviews and creates diplomatic relationships with other clans. In the rare case that it might occur, the council will also carry out disciplenary actions.
As a member of the council you have to show up to the council meetings. The council meetings aren't frequent, and they don't take up much time. We will always make sure that all council members are able to attend. As a council member you will have a certain amount of influence, and alot of the council members will get paid.(Special position holders) Also as a council member, you must show a certain amount of maturity and responsibility. If you are a senior officer or hold a special position, you should already have those things, but always remember to set a good example.
As this clan develops in numbers, this system will really take affect, and reduce ineffiency caused by one or two people having to do everything
The Agonian Legion is a clan that in every way influences its clannies to be of the finest quality, and gives incentives for them to work hard, in order to achieve the status they desire in the guild.
