...create a signature like I seen most folks have on the bottom of their posts or replies.I am referring to the ones with lets say char names and drawings/pics.Any info would be much appreciated!

Can you give me a step by step. I don't quite understand what you mean with img /img.

Basically, all you have to do is have an image you want as you signature on the internet somewhere.

For example, the picture under your name (your avatar) is at:

http://forums.darkfallonline.com/images/avatars/OrkSub.jpg

all you have to do is goto your signature settings (click Quick Links in the upper right corner of the site, then Edit Signature) and click the image button (looks like a yellow box with a gray mountain in it) and type in the address there - press enter then Save. You'll have a 'signature'

Important thing to remember is that the file must be no bigger than 500 x 150. You can check to see how large an image is by first right clicking the image, then going to properties. Its listed under Dimensions:

All you need to do is right click save a pic you want, go to imageshack.us and click browse, pick the one you want and lick open, then hit host it. Wait for it to upload it, then when its done copy the line of code that sais "Hotlink for forums (1)" to the right of it, then put that in the box in the User CP section that sais "Edit signature" Boom your set.

Edit:O and for creating one, just lok around for cool pics and shit like that, open them in a pic editing program and crop the area you want and add text and stuff, maybe filters, weird colors, stuff like that

In order to create images, you'll have to get your hands on a photo editing piece of software; such as Photo Shop (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/) or Paint Shop Pro (http://www.corel.com/paintshop/). Both cost quite a bit of money, I believe.

However there is a free alternitive: GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/)

To actualy make the images, you'll have to look up tutorials based on the program you choose to use. For example, in Google (http://www.google.com/), you'd type "Photoshop tutorials".

Its a long, complicated process. The easiest way would be to have someone else do it for you in the link provided earlier.

If you wish to add an image to your signature, go to the UserCP (at the top left of the forum), click on "Edit Signature" and add the image's URL like so:
[IΜG]http://www.mydomain.com/image.jpg[/IΜG]

Obviously, replace that URL with the real one! As far as CREATING a signature goes, you can follow the advice in this thread, or simply use the community resource for this sort of thing: The Request A Sig Thread (http://forums.darkfallonline.com/showthread.php?t=21942), that way you can be lazy and make some one else do it!

Close Flarkington, but the url of the image must end with an image file, such as .gif or .jpg or .png.

.html wont work.
