Xfers**AV please read***

Just a thought that crossed my mind as i read the xfer information.

What would keep someone from (every month) doing the xfer from EU> NA or NA>EU and making the accounts for 15$ (with just a non skilled character of course) over and over and selling these accounts for less then cost of one off the website . Just so i have not lost any one let me explain ----

If i have a EU accnt and i Xfer my EU toon to NA i then i have my Toon on NA , but i also have a new slot ot make a toon on EU with now (that is if you keep paying the sub fee everymonth ) . Which would allow the following month to do the xfer process again for 15$ , giving them another NA account , since it lets you create a new NA account to Xfer to if you say you do not have one ..


Seems like there could be a loop hole here and allow ALOT of scammers/account sellers to take away from AV making money! I really hope someone from AV sees this soon.

***To all the cheap skates out there who are reading this and thinking how they planned to use this to there advantage and make money off AV.....I hope they catch this FAST so no one can rip them off ****

Still not going to fix the issue of people Xfering each month to get a new account to sell ....

Easy, make it so that if you transfer to one NA/EU account, your other account is permanently bound to that account and you can only transfer from/to that account.
Basically the 2 accounts get linked forever and no new link can happen.

I was thinking this too at first.

But if you read Tasos' post about transfers, the first requirement to get a transfer that he states is:

To be eligible for character transfer you must have a player account and you must have purchased the Darkfall Client on the originating server

To me, this says, that basically you have to have bought DF for the server you are leaving, and once you transfer, you will have not bought DF for your new server, so you are no longer eligible for another transfer.

EDIT: So essentially, what I'm reading says that transfers are one-way only.

I read that also , but i too have proven that you can do this over and over (just to make sure 4 i posted) ...


Good point on linking the accounts in some way , so that when you do Xfer the Old accoutn is "bound" to the new account in some way.


Need this fixed AV , could be a HUGE problem for you all when u start seeing 500000 darkfall accounts on player auctions for 15-20$ or less and you cant sell a single copy of the game urselfs anymore :(

Anyone wana know a reason why the economy is in the state it is in , ^^ because of thinking like this . the idea "As long as it benifits me " ...........


Edit: Think of it this way...how many hackers do you think there will be if they can make accounts for 15$ and not care about getting banned cause they made like 900k for 15$ and lost an account they will jsut replace next month .... Think things all the way through .
