Why can hamlets have three resources including a mine, when there are totally useless cities with say only a farm?

I find this a bit strange, AV wants us to fight over cities and hamlets, well the only real use a city or hamlet have these days are rare ores.

Therefore a re-balance between hamlets and cities would be in order.

A hamlet having 3 resource nodes (including a mine) like Skogul should by all reasoning fast become a city just because it has those resources, would it not?

Then on the other hand you have cities with just a farm, those cities should fast become empty (and they are) and therefore degrade to a hamlet.

And why should anyone fight over a hamlet with no resource node at all?

I suggest that you re-balance the cities/hamlets so that everyone counts instead of adding sea fortress’s to increase large scale PvP.

I fully agree.
If you ask me, every hamlet should have one or two (not three) amneties where none of them has only a basic farm. And cities should have three or all four. Anything else is just stupid.

I agree with all of this, when I lived in a city with a clan the only thing that happend to me constantly was DEATH!

Make cities/hamlets more valuable or clans will just live out of NPC cities and not worry about trying to capture one for thier clan.

I already gave up on AV having any logic for this game. There are 10k suggestion threads on how to actually make property be useful... and this ever since the game started. Most suggestions explained how to change property so that it's useful and NOT change the game as it is now, but rather add to it. PvP would be the same but have a purpose ... as I said, I gave up already, will not even bother to sign :P

I think most of the lesser equipt cities have better hunting spawns close, and other high value alternate resources close by...

Maybe have owners of cities give passive bonuses in the form as valuables like a steady income of wood, stone, sulfur, iron, mandrake + some rares depending on what the clan holds.
Also adding a limit to how many cities one can hold and a minimum limit the clan needs to take a holding or some nice system.
