Just the monthly beg for more hotbars.
I still don't understand why we don't have them yet, it must be hella easy to implement, it makes sense and it's kinda needed now with the pve changes. Just... do... it... or please if you don't want to, say why not or something...

Oh yes and while on it, i want an option to put my windows in whatever window group I wish, in order to have just 1 group with several different window tabs and also invisible and customizable window background and borders.
If I want to play at the 700x5xx something resolution (since they have it in the options) I don't get half of my entire screen filled with only 2 chat windows and my open backpack.

Bump. I'm not gonna go tired with this. I WANT MORE HOTBARS.
i dont rly need more hotbar, an option to directly bind a skill/spell to a key would do the job! but since i first need to put it to the hotbar and assign a key to this place i need moar!
so more hotbars or direct assign PLZ (and to have the hotbar horizontal would also nice, along with some more gui costumation...)

Better put more hotbars since some people like me prefer to use the regular hotbars instead of having every single spell bound to a specific key combo(cos i can't remember them all), and it would allow you to do what you want anyway :P

What if we were able to put like 2 or 3 spells in the same slot and when you press the button for that slot it cycles between them with each press? How awesome would that be? I know.

how about a normal ingame macro system, that allows, cast sequences, just take the wow equivalent macro system, doesn't allow for exploiting just makes life easier.
Could have set functions if string analyzing takes to much effort.
Already done "functions" that you use, bar change, skill use, and it's just like any other "skill", just that it performs a series of tasks.

We need at least one more hotbar. You simply can't fit all the stuff on hotbars that you should be able to fit on hotbars.

GUI improvements are much needed.
More Hotbars please. Also make them customizable e.g horizontal and vertical, spherical or whatnot.
And AV while your at it: Please for the love of good make cooldown on actual buttons easier to discern. Contrast is key here, lots of it, (think black and white but don“t go all the way).
And it would be nice to be able to choose hotbar, size and icon size.
Finally bound all my spells to one dedicated key, each. No ore hotbarswitching but still, it would be nice to be able to see some cooldowns without going the dysmal route of fucking-wall-of-expanded-hotbar-blob on the screen.

Actually, what I would like to see is multiple hotbar save states so we can have different configurations for different roles.
This might solve the need for more hot bar slots...

I could easily use 3 more.
I would be much better off if the devs just let us bind abilities to keystrokes without hotbaring those abilities.
I would prefer to cast most of my spells via keystrokes.

Yup, more bars are needed NOW. And safe to assume that as content gets added in we will need them for future expansion anyways. I can only hope AV is already looking into this.

I'm quite certain that in "Darkfall 2010" we will recieve a improved hotbar if not before that.
As read in the interview one can hear that they have made an effort into making several actions usable though the same keybind, or that they will allow one keybind to execute a series of actions.
One can also assume that the consumables bar, was the "alpha" or "beta" bar, that they released of their new bar that will be possible to scale and adjust thorough he GUI menu.
If you imagine this scenario, they changed the way the mainbar worked and it proved to not do so well, mby a few unforeseen buggs and gui problems with persistence and such things.
What would happen? well it surely would have been a game-breaking bugg, and reverting the change to the new bar mby wouldn't have been such an easy move, who knows how many areas in their code is related to that particular bar? GUI, Controls, UI, and I'm certain there are allot more then those.
So I'd say we can safely assume they are working on improving the mainbar, probably something in the lines of the consumables bar, being able to adjust horizontal, vertical, amount of boxes, maybe you will be able to assign amount of columns and rows, in this one instead or particular amount of boxes.
Whatever change they do, I prefere them doing it this way they did with the regent bar, test it on something else before, to be certain it ain't going to have some unforseen disadvantage before doing such a large change.
What I'm most eager to get to know more of, is in what way they intend to change the keybind thing I mentioned earlier, are they going to introduce ingame macros, "stances" such as Archery, Magic, Melee and Mounted?
options, boxes to check and drop down menus to chose column to change to on keybind and so on.
Because the bar, you can still put all your spells there, cooldowns are not shown for some things, you cannot easily show more then 1 bar, neither can you switch it to vertical, but it's still there, what will change is the graphical appearance of it.
What a this keybind thing will change is something larger, it makes the UI smoother, and easier to stitch to your own likening.
So I hope they release some new info on this particularly :D

I don't see how more hotbars would work. What keys would select the skills? You can already bind unseen hotbars directly to keys. Look in the bindings and every slot 0-9 is directly bindable.
It's not perfect, but a lot of your wishes are already possible.

That's not the issue man. My problem(and many others') is that i have every single of the 100 hotbar slots you can get occupied, and still have some nice things i would like to have hotkeyed for certain situations that i can't. I know you can direct bind stuff... duh. And apart from that, i switch through hotbars while fighting, i don't want to be able to have more hotbars ACTIVE(altho that wouldn't be bad either, but i don't really need it), i just want to be have more slots in which to place abilities, in general. The keys to switch to them could be non-bound as default(so that people that don't have the first 100 full don't have to worry bout them), but bindable to any key you would wish(i.e. shift+tab+number prolly for me).

Your main problem is that you have all magic schools and using all meele skills + 1 archery skill.
Simple solution which will also balance magic more would be the original concept for magic. I know most of you dont want to be forced to chose fire and quit watter, but it would solve you problem I think :).
This game and also UI wasn't created for mages we see nowadays. Alowing people use all magic school was the worst decision and took away the versatility.

Not really that much rly, and to be fair i would fill what you said. I have arcane but not high necro, i have air but not high earth, i have neither high fire or water...
In any case i don't agree with what you said, but that is a different argument that doesn't mean we shouldn't get more hotbars ANYWAY.(What if i want to rebind different weapons of the same type to use them at different situations, i.e. physical bow for heavy armoured people, transmuted bow for mages, and much more, would that be wrong???)

No.
because too much "hotbars" won't promote the diversity.
more hotbars = more skills usable in fight.
less hotbars = less skills usable in fight = diversity because each player will use his prefered skills.
i think there is already too much hotbars ingame.
they did a mistake to allow 10 hotbars.
That's why many people seem to be a hybrid since they can use every skills they have leveled.
they are adding a specializations to make more diversity
So in the end, if you take a specialization you won't need all this hotbars.
However, the hotbars should not be increased because it will be an advantage for hybrid (characters without specialization).
So NO!

They need to make it so that a person does not have to use a third-party program to make it so that they can equip both shield and 1hder by the click on one button . .. in-game macros please!!

it as nothing to do with a macro.
1 handed weapon + 1 shield = 2 spots on a hotbar.
macro is just a shorcut to do 1 + delay + 2 in 1 key press.
i personnaly use no macro. useless.
it doesn't help at all to improve your player skill because you rely too much on the macro to play.
But i use my own binds/shortcuts.

While i voted "Once more, yes" i'd like to reverse my vote.
Thought about it and i guess its better the way it is.
More hotbars is just another boost for players wich maxed everything
and i doubt that they need a boost. So one Hotbar is better as the difference is already quite large. Besides you can still assign keys to hidden hotbars,
just got to keep your cooldowns in mind.

Dont know if anyone here will admit to playing, but if you've ever seen the Bartender addon for WoW - every button based mmo UI should function like that!
More than anything I want a horizontal bar tho! It does my eyes in scanning vertically.
