Davey = 7.9/10 (I'd give it an 8 if I could read the name just a tad bit clearer and maybe a 10 if you had a slightly better fire effect).

Constellation = I like both of those better than the one that you're currently using, lol. Personally, I think that the words should be a little more clear though. I give the archer an 8/10 and the mage looking dude an 8.5/10.

haha...yeah, I still haven't found all of the pictures that I want for my new sig. It's about half made....been that way for a couple of weeks.

I'd go with the crafting sig that has a background...just not that background. The images are small enough that they need something to lift them out of the page. Otherwise, they get lost.

As for your sig, 9/10...I like how clean the lines are, and even though there are four pictures, they fit together very nicely. (That sentence grammatically sucked, but it's late and I'm too tired to correct it.)

While I do agree that the darker backgrounds do look nice. They just don't seem feasable(Such as Marble, or Stars). With the wooden background I was sort of going for the "Sign" look. Notice the wavy border kind of giving it that nonperfect look of wood. I have been considering adding a bar of some sort over the top of the image and have it just sort of hang from it like a sign as well.

For a sign, wood is probably best indeed. The bar would sure add to it. I'm interested to see the result.

I do like your sig. The only gripe I have is that over and under the ninja character is the only part of flat border around the sig. Yeah, the patterned pictures are just a few of my favorites from an artist by the name of Sylvia Polster. I've always been a fan of hers. When I created Arxon Havenloft, he was a Dwarven Blacksmith/Warrior in one of my short stories back in school. I've just always liked the name and stuck with it. Thus explaining the dwarf. The circle/sphere around the Darkfall symbol was actually a part of a sig that was made for me back in my UO days by an old friend so I put it in there as some sort of sentimental value for both my friend and old UO. I don't notice the blurring I guess because it's so small to begin with.

It literally means "Let us cast aside war with our blood." It's a statement from near the end of the Aeneid, just before the war between the Latins and the Trojans. The maker of the sig (my clan leader) edited the background to be red to fit that, which I thought was pretty cool.

Anyway, Moonsorrow's sig:

8.5/10 cause its original and funny, which fits your general profile. You could contrast the colors a bit more on the wording so it stands out more and it doesn't blend into the forum color scheme making it stand out more from the general post listings.

Actually, that's like one of the fighter pilots oxygen mask, except it captures moisture, it's from the Magnificent Dune Chronicles (and so is the quote).

I use GIMP for my image-editing, and I'm not sure how to add sepia, and how to add a glow effect :/

Try using a shadow behind the font or stroke the text with minium amount of black, it should aid the visibility of the text.

I would do this emboss/outline the text with white, then shadow with black. This will help the fact that you have the gray gradient effect on the text. I would also bold it so its not as dainty on the text.

For a while I tried to figure out what was your point, I did not get it. Next time you copy paste something, please cut the lines better, I can see something extra on borders of the prince. Perhaps you were saved by "the borders" they don't look so bad, but theres still a lot to go through in that signature in order for it to look "cool" in my eyes.

I like Xin's, it seems to go with his clan name, and the text is easy to read, and to the point. It's a no-nonsense signature, that just says "This is me, this is my clan. Oh and you will spend your time wishing you had my sig."

One thing, however, is that some of the edges look flat, but the whole overall looks really good. The colors blend, and it's just a smooth signature. 9/10

If i were you, i´d make the character bit smaller so that a little hint of black cloth is in . And imo it´s bit unblanced even with flare effect, so i´d reduce the width or use alot bigger and more flashy text for "enigmatic sentence" part of sig.

Allthough i even have some of Moonsorrows songs on my comp, it isn´t where i got my name (noticed afterwards that it´s used elsewhere, allso in other places than just in that bands name).

Background is very nice, i especially like the color scheme of it. Considering that you are citing the term used to describe the Roman state in the days of the Republic for the name of your clan, I would recommend finding some sort of Latin quote, like I have in my sig. If you do not know any Latin (as I suspect) then you can ask me over PM and I might be able to find something for you.

^ Nothing to really complain about the sig other than the text layout. Something about it that makes it just half of its true potential. A suggestion would be to try a simpler font for the text to set it apart from the name. Reducing the size as well as making it simple could increase the sort of "scary" effect making it impact more on the mind.

Perhaps the second sentence is a bit unmatched in length and could be divided into perhaps 2 sentences. Making it 3 sentences on top of each other.

5/10...I just don't get it. Maybe I'm biased against the abstract but I just don't like how I can't get anything out of it.
Edit: I like the other one (the greenish one), 7/10. It's still fairly abstract, but the house in the background combined with the color scheme almost put a little shiver up my spine for some reason. In my opinion you should take out the text though, I like the image alone; if you did that I'd probably give it 8/10.
