I think you've forcefully put too much blue into your sig. Should have stuck with the grayscale IMO. Your fonts are too soft and hard to read. There are plenty of websites you can go to for free ones. Sorry, I don't know any off the top of my head =/

Aye, it's from the game Gothic 3. It's a loading screen. As for yours 8/10 too. I dont know why. I like the little darkness quote i suppose. It's 3am, so..fuck it.

Look at it this way Aranin, most of the new sigs are from people that are just getting started with image editors, so not all the tricks n' such are yet known. As time goes by we'll see better and better from them. Sigs don't offer a large format to work with so a lot of details are kaput due to the small footprint , which sucks, but ya know ?

The emboss/alpha did a bit more than I wanted, but no biggie. Playing with ideas for a guild sig. The guild is getting a bit twitchy about DFo, and whether or not its ever going to go to beta. So far, the vote is in favor of the game going vapor. /cry .

the gray is better, though the gray on the right portion of the X is perfect, you should replace the color to the left of the end of the X with the one on the right and it will be blended perfectly. gg on the grind text.

its got humor not just random pics put together, i like how everything seems to be reacting with the ball or bat in the case of the lil penguins/seal
the reason ya gotta 8 instead of a 10 tho is the fuzzy outline around them , not sure how it fits into the sig...also dont like how it fades to grey on one side but the biggest problem is you can see where it cuts off so the sig doesnt blend into the bg of the forums at all which is what im assuming your going for with the grey on one side... other than that though its a good sig i do like it

the glare is nice and i like the attempt on the eye... it does make it stand out more the only problem is i dont see why the eye would be brighter than the rest of the pic, if the glare was from behind the eye yea but just a random bright spot doesnt cut it ;\
also the border isnt done very well, its pixillated a bit on the outsides and it has a clear cut off point... especially on the right hand side

my advice to improve the sig, make the border whole dont let it have clean cut marks and work on getting rid of the pixillation...maybe a new border all together i dunno... also i would add something to the skull/bats to make them stand out more... and finda way to get the eye to make sense with the sig instead of kinda standing apart from it ...anywho <3

We have a unifying sig template system comprising the borders, text and clan insignia in the corner. Some might disagree, but I rather like the borders and the concept of unified clan sigs. And, hey, it makes it easier for our heralds to make them for us (though mine was self-made). :P

Place your render more in the middle and eliminate the open space, also the text is way to huge imo. the render quality isn't that good either, try to use a more high quality source. Render doesn't match the background very well, it doesn't blend.

I also advise trying to use fewer colors too, it's easier to manage.

Try reading some tutorials, it helps alot.

As an average, I would give all three an 8/10.
#1 "Xinnro" might look better in the upper left.
#2 Might look better if you made the text bigger.

I'm looking at getting "out of the box" , borders have their place to be sure, but not with all images . jpgs don't handle transparency that well and .png images tend to be a bit heavy on the size end . What you're seeing is the result of a ton of filters being applied and multi layers merged flat. Ty though.
