I have a rather large dislike of people who rate a signature yet can't bother with an explanation, criticism, or advice of any kind.

5/10 on professional standing, 8.5/10 for if it was made in Gimp like I believe it was.

How is it a poor font choice? If you can tell me what the font choices are aiming for I'll abide by that. Even on an aesthetic level I find them nice, although the second one is harder to read than I normally like, which I do like. I did find the border to be rather unsuitable, any advice? 9/10 I don't have anything I can criticize.

actually i have kept his signiture for the wessex forums and put this as my DF one. I did this because this was my first ever sig i have ever made and i just wanted it to be seen rather than be stored away in a file!!. i appreciate Koma's work greatly.

There are a few types of signatures

-There are signatures like mine, threatletterbox, fluffington or matriel's which we all put a little bit of our personalities into. Mat likes guns, Fluff likes muffins, I like Art, Threatletterbox hates the government, and so on.

-Then there are signatures that represent ourselves as gamers. This is common amongst the duchy clan members as well as a few GDers. You have signatures that show you're love for games and in this case, your desire to win, but! This signature isn't humble enough.

The man in your signature comes to me as an assasin, shown by him peering behind a wall, who is good at video gmaes, shown through the muscles and epic swords. He also wants to kill, shown by the white eyes.

First of all your signature is way too cluttered, the swords, the red filters and the assasin / construction worker are WAY too much in such a closely packed signature.

Your border isn't covering all edges like i am acustomed too, and its see through, making it just a useless black line similar to most duchy sigs. Its just in the way, make a border or take it out.

The wall to the far left is a bright yellow, it makes me want to see whats going on over there, Its a shame that i cant.

The lettering and picture depth is biased tword the right side of the screen, while the eye catching Assaconstructionworker is ignored over to the left.

Theres a blotch of red strokes in the middel, i don't know what it is, but its starting to piss me off.

The big spikey sword is poorly positioned.

I don't realy have too much of an opinion on yours, but to take up some of the points previously mentioned, your boarder doesn't really separate the sig from the forum, but it has a certain effect none the less. I'd say the rest looks ok-ish, although the long red.... thing, I'm not really sure what it is, if it's a sword or not, if it was I think it's too far away from the "wielder", if it doesn't have an hell of a curve to it. 7/10

Why does it say Yamahon in your sig? does Hon mean something different in names?


The Kanji for Hon (book, basis, this) can be read a number of different ways. Hon (also Bon) and , pPon (as in Nippon [Japan]). I use the pP because the actual character is a small 'tsu' which represents a double consonant. And Moto (suffix only). Moto generally means 'basis.' It is most commonly in names such as Yamamoto or Morimoto (the Iron Chef).

I hate that, like 赤川 is read akagawa instead of akakawa. I still don`t know most of my kanji, only the basics.
