does it matter if i use magic or archery in plate regarding damage efficiency or is it all the same and there are no meaningful penalties?

According to patch notes, 10 archery encumb = 1 less dmg

I havent tested personally yet, but they said they increased the efects of encumbrence. If when wearing the plate you have 0 encumbrence then you're good, but if there is any I would suggest testing it out. just hit something with your armor on, take it off and hit that same mob type.

I know that 7 magic encumbrance makes a 2-4 point difference on a fireball and 3-6 on inferno.... you do the math.
