Stucked in crouch position

Often when I try to duck to dodge a meele swing, I get stucked in the crouch position (without pressing ALT+C of course).
Is there a way to stop it happening?

Its because your opponent may have obstructed you from standing upright. Its the same when trying to stand up in a window, for example, you stay crouched.

Just tap space(or C) and you should stand up.

Sounds painful.

Keep in mind that people used to feather the crouch button, and the devs put in some kind of glitch to prevent that, such that the crouch button gets janky if you try to use it too quickly.

Also try alt c if jump or c doesn't do it. This is a stupid bug.

Thank you all for the replies. By the way, I tried to disabilitate the Toggle Crouch Position (default ALT+C) keybind from the Input Bindings menu, but it didn't work.
