Everytime I login I have to enable clipping then disable it for it to function as if it is disabled, is there a way to fix this?

nope, gotta enable and disable this every time. same with the blue "breathe" bar that you get every time you log in from the vitality quest buff. You have to put on a vitality item and take it off for it to dissapear and get the proper hp.

It would be nice if this bug was fixed sometime. It is very annoying to have to enable/disable everytime just to have it DISABLED, so you don't miss chests an what not.

I transfered from EU, did a fresh install of darkfall on a new HD. Never seemed to have this problem on EU, what is the deal??

I have this too and it is very annoying.

The workaround is to use these clipping settings: 10, 1000, 1

This will give you the minimum clipping of this function, although I think it is slightly more clipping than turning it off entirely, so in serious pvp/travelling you might still want to disable it.

If I understood you correctly... The first value is 400 for minimum clipping. I don't see any difference at all with 400/1000/1 versus disabling clipping, except for 1-2 more FPS.

Possibly, will check when I get home.

I think the first value is based on how many "yards" away you can see detailed objects on characters. If set at a value under 400, hair will disappear at <insert range> (only thing I noticed change). 400 might be the max clip range for seeing a character in general. I haven't messed with it since release, so not too sure if that setting has new functions or works for more objects on a character now.
