Since I first started playing (on a brand new PC), I was getting odd Corrupted Data Patcher File errors and I could Alt+Tab back into the game but after running for so far I would hit the end of the world and crash. This would happen some times very frequently and others it would take hours.
I tried everything, but the only thing that seemed to fix it was to open task manager and set affinity the lobby.exe to my last two cores (Q9550).
Odd, but if this helps anyone else :D
