We bring you the Darkfall Spotlight Screenshot Contest. We've set up this site (http://www.darkfallonline.com/contest/screenshots/contests/1258128288/index.html) where you can check out the details and eventually the winners as well as new and old archived contests.

We'll be running this for approximately 2 weeks and will then announce the winners. Winners will receive 3 months of game time and the best among those an exclusive Darkfall poster signed by our devs!

They would like all screenshots without any alterations.
Additionally, use the best quality shader, as well.

We will make sure this gets added to the contest page as well as soon as possible.

oh rly? so the only company with a Dx11 capable card, cheaper prices per clock cycle, more OC power, better datamanagment and not to mention better customer support is "the worst".


shit, i wonder what Nvidia is in that case...

Since the failure of the 2x and 3x series ATI has shown itself capable of making suberb cards wih the 4x and 5x series beating down nvidia time and again on every benchmark except the super-high-end-one (ie:~700 euro cards).

nvidia on the other hand has shown a lack of evolution and re-cycling, renaming and re-publishing old cards since it's success with the 8 series that it makes me want to puke.

Is it only me who had some errors ? First to hide your GUI i must press ALT+H and second error is the e-mail adress. everytime when i send the mail to this E-Mail i get an error but if i try contest@darkfallonline.com it works. Is this some test or what ?

No decent player plays with shadows on and has time to mess about removing all the gui to make screenshots in the faint hope of winning a few months free subs.

If they want to make a contest without all these ridiculous rules and restrictions then maybe they might get a few decent screenies.

On the other hand if you want to publicize the game then might I suggest employing a proper marketing person and going about it in a more professional manner.Asking your customers to sell the game for you because you are too lazy to deal with it yourself is a recipe for disaster.
