error 14001 after vcredist_x86

hi i'm getting error 14001 wenn i'm starting darkfall.
i have used vcredist_x86 but i'm still getting error 14001:bang: plz help me
i run on vista but i have been able to play the game then i stopped and now i want to start again, but every time i press play it gives error 14001 and i just can't make it work

This is 100% a vc++ issue.

Uninstall all VC++ redists, download the August 2008 one, and install it.

ok now i have reinstalled windows vista and now it works then thanks for no help but so what then to everybody that has tryed whit microsoft visuel c++ and it doesn't work just reinstale vista that's it
