Journal and Clan

Okay guys i am a new player about 2 days. I am having a problem with my journal really i can't seem to access it. Using the journal and clan in game will show the rolled up scroll, but no menu button. It is NOT my firewall as my firewall is always off. I tried accessing it using the link from the patcher. When i login into the link given it brings up the journal and clan screen but its blank. There are 2 buttons in the middle top of the screen over the empty space. One says clan. On the right of it theres Journal. If i click on either of these, there will be a darkfall loading sign in the space and it will bring me back to the login page.

that's a good one, did you say you used the out of game journal?

New player here too and I was had the same issue.

The game uses another .exe ingame to access the browser based items. This was *not* allowed by my firewall application nor did it prompt me when ingame and I tried to use it.

I navigated to the install folder (varies with XP or Vista), under the COM sub-directory and found the SFBROWSER.EXE. I added this to my firewall exceptions and re-loaded the game.

It's now working 100%.

Yes you can also open it while playing the game and it will work.

It will work but it opens so slow that I hear a loop of whatever is spoken in vent for more then a minute. It is a VERY bad implemented feature to be honest.
Better use the Out of game Journal.
