"Lost conection to server" every 30 min - 1 hour.

any fix ? I have the same problem running win7 64 and 32 bit.

i disabled Network Discoverys
static ip
updated my drivers
tried time sync aps

yesterday i was able to play for 6 hours straigh but today again the same problem.

And btw...why are the other posts about this topic closed ? if we dont get help from aventurine cant we look for help from others players ? why open a technical support forum if no one actually support ? and even worse you close posts ? there are already 3 post closed.

Some more info would be helpfull..

1 is it a wired or wireless connection?
2. Have you tried it with multiple network cards
3. When downloading a huge file on a no resume server is it able to complete?
4. Check the IP leases you are getting from modem/router and wether the crashes are about the same moment

I get this as well sometimes, on two different computers with entirely different hardware and different OS.
I only disconnect from Darkfall, not from anything else.

Try sending tracert to Darkfall server immediately after you'll disconnect.
tracert www.eu1.darkfallonline.com

If tracert works without problems and responds quickly, and you use Vista or Win7, there are freeware tools to set real time clock synchronization to every 1 min, and it should solve the problem.

If tracert gets lost somewhere on the way to www.eu1.darkfallonline.com, you'll at least know if connection is lost in your provider network, on somewhere on international connections, or in some network in Germany, where DF server is located.

Already used tardis 2000 configured to 1 min and it didnt fix the problem.
Installed win 7 64 bit and win 7 32 bit .
My windows firewall is off and this time with win 7 32 bit i have not install any antivirus yet.
I have set static ip to my computer and also opened ALL ports.
I played wired and wireless...dc with both .
I configured df to start normally, with vista compatibility and with XP compatibility , also i always start it as admin , and nothing.
I used diferent drivers for my ethernet card also .
The install is new , no need for defrag.
i dont think is my isp since i was playing fine with my other computer, laptop , 2 weeks ago and never had any problem before since game release.

What i meant had to do with dhcp leases, but this is not applicable if you set a static IP i think

also you need your clock to be synched correctly, if you windows clock is fubar you will disconnect, not sure why ;p

Haven't been able to track the problem down.

Have a laptop on the same line running Vista that does not display this problem.

i had this problem on my old linkseys router(kept disconnecting me every 15 minutes or something?" then i got a new router(old one died) and i havent had a single disconnection!

I just uninstalled win 7 and installed vista 64 bit , still disconections, installed tardis 2000 and set "minimun correction alllowed" to "anything goes" and "how often the the time is set" to "every minute"...still disconect.

Dont think is the router because i was playing fine for 6 month with it using my laptop...anyways im going to install another router i have and check it.

In some cases might be the routor but I'm having same problem and it's not my routor, bypassed everthing connected directly to modem problem still continues... good luck

Check every component in your network, also, try the "how to fix your ping" registry hack thing (if you are in vista). Maybe someone more motivated than me could link to that forum post.

its because AV are jerks and they made the game dc anyone who loses connection for even a split second (like if your router resets or w/e) to avoid people from plug pulling while pvping. im almost positive ive even had one of the gm's tell me this, but dont quote me on that. people are out buying new routers, downloading all these programs and what not, when in reality its because of AV.

Theres a reason people are saying "it only happens when playing darkfall." a lot of routers reset for a few seconds at least once a day (mine does the same and i dc and die almost every single time) for w/e reason.

what makes the situation worse is having to try 20 times (or wait almost 10 minutes) to get back into the game. truly the most frustrating thing about this game to me is the 'lost connection to server' crap that we get.

some routers dont reset or w/e it is they do that makes them dc for a second or 2 but it seems like a lot do.

if they cant figure a way to let us log back in fast i wish they'd at least give us an invulnerability shield while we are disconnected so that we arent dead every single time we d/c during a fight. ugh, i love the game to death but its just so poorly designed.

I have used tardis 2000 with no luck , u can set tardis 2000 to update time every 1 min minimun but it seems its not enough. I downloaded Absolute time corrector , with this one u can configure it to update every 4 sec , and it seems that with 4 sec updates it works, i have been playing for more than 6 hours without dc...finally.
The problem is that this app is not free, im using 30 days trial... im looking for time sync app that can be configured also to 4 sec like ATC but for free.. =) if i cant find a free one i will have to buy it.
