Frequent crashes ( like 1 time per hour)

WHY????? every hour , or so, the latency goes up and up, and i have to close the game via task manager, cause the lag can go up to 1.00.000.000.000. and i'm not able to quit the game, clicking the quit button. and the game doesn't crash ( no "connection lost" problem ),it just stops the connection.
My internet connection is just fine...only darkfall stops...

I downloaded yesterday that free time adjusting program and the problem went worse.. just log and cd instantly.
What setting are u using with that ap ?

I put it to check time at every 10 minutes.
It seems it fixed the lag spikes. I see ping sometimes get to 400 but it settles down again to 60 soon. I have set it to 1 hour earlier and I only got 1 lag spike to 30.000 and disconnected.
I tested the ATC Absolute Time Corrector.

i installed it again ( tardis 2000 ) , you have 2 options , install application or service.
I installed application and configured it to check every 1 min ...it might be unnecesary every min but it seems its working , it corrects the tme 0.200 to 0.300 seconds every time so i never get 1 sec delay ... and no dc for 1 hour now, i will report after some hours if it works.

well..after some time i got dced again , and again and again, so the program didnt fix it for me either.

I was playing wired , i just installed wifi card and im playing wireless right now , testing if the problem is related to some nic card or what .

My motherboard ( Gigabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H ) is using "Realtek 8111C chip" btw .

I was playing fine with windows 7 with my laptop , with pc i cant so it might be the realtek chip... :/


EDIT = wireless conction failed also , disconection from server .

I know, this need some time, but did you try to defrag your harddisk with windows on it ?
Also did you try to use a new harddisk and install windows like mentioned in the first link ?

With getting those lag-spikes it might be some illegible files your pc tries to read.
Also tried the darkfall "repair-option" ?

I'm sorry to tell ya, but i don't get this bug, nor do my clanmates get this bug.
So this problem is probably not on AVs side.

Btw. did you already try to play without a router ?
Many people had problems with their routers ( closing the connection for a millisec. )

You can also try to trace your connection, if there is some packet loss between you and the server. Maybe its some bad hardware your isp is using.

I get this as well. I just started playing again, and before I never got this problem, so this is something that recently has come up.

It doesn't happen in any other game I play (wc3 or cs) and most of the time I get lost connection to server while still intializing gameplay before the game even opens. I can usually play for maybe 15-20 minutes before it loses connection, getting annoying.

So i got this bug one time and solv this..

i Just got a DVD copy darkfall and format pc , install windows and nothing more and install darkfall make all patchs accept install all...

After this i stated install drives and other things and work fine this in my old pc with windows xp

Now i use seven 64 and run very well too

So, do you have a screensaver installed on windows ? Or Energy saving mode turned on ???

If the problem occurs, when you are afk, something of these my try to turn on.
