My native resolution is 1920x1200. Whenever I play DF this:

...happens.
The yellow box was added by me to show where the "invisible" borders are. The mouse cursor, and all of the UI boxes (chat/paper-doll etc.) cannot move past those yellow lines. Once in game, I am forced to select a low resolution, and then reselect my native resolution in order to remove those invisible borders. My placement of windows for the UI is not saved when I do this. Meaning that I have to completely reconfigure my UI every single time I play the game. Very, very, annoying. Also, as you can see from my screenshot, creating a character with this problem is essentially guesswork, as the menus are covering up the face.
I've had this problem since beta, and even after launch. I just reactivated after transfers being opened and see that this issue has not been resolved in this entire time. This leads me to believe that it is a rare occurrence. Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?
I have been submitting this as a bug report since beta to the devs and they've done nothing about it. Needless to say, having to set up my UI every time I play is not very fun.
I'm using an Nvidia GTX260 with drivers up to date. My monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster T260, also with the latest drivers.
