Gotta say, after the first few days of re-subbing im enjoying the game a lot more than i did before and am anticipating an exellent game in a polished state at last after the expansion, all i can say is it will still be slightly lacking in players.

If the expansion turns out to be perfect then all you will need to do is slowly build on what you have and the game will go to new heights.

You dont see it much on these forums unfortunantly but im gonna say well done to aventurine, for me and im sure many others they have pulled through and are gonna continue to do so.

Good job :)

I didn't know that the game used to be in a worst mode than currently, since I haven't explored yet and did not discover the majority of its features. I only occasionally visited the forums and never subed until before less than 2 weeks.
I am glad to hear people have been leaving the game since it has been in a lesser state than now, and now coming back and realizing there has been work done to improve it, which means the worst is over and now the only way is up!

(which also means that the people who have left earlier would have been better for them if they actually stayed and endured some of the problems. Also the game itself would be better probably because they would get the some of the needed things would been done faster)

I feel a bit safer for my subscription money now. :)

I now understand that Aventurine forced the launch prematurely because maybe they didn't have much choice and that would have been what caused all the problems.
Happy to see the game is improving.

still alot of problems, they need to balance nuking and healing. and make pvp better by adding things like silences and stuff.

The expansion will bring a system of global cool downs.

They have done a fantastic job in instating a community belief in them over the last couple of months. I think the opening of the Darkfall Spotlight and hiring of community staff has gone a long way towards bringing this about. They also have shown that they are listening to the community and moving the game in the direction that the majority want it to go in without spoiling the things that the players feel make the game great. I can just hope they keep progressing the game the way they have and don't make any massive mistakes with patches and expansions.

They are going to add a shared cooldown system for spells.
The only exemple that we got is that if you shot an AoE spell, all your AoEs will go in cooldown (this exemple is probably refered to level 100 AoE spells)

I'm pleased with how they've improved recently, but its still going to take a lot for me to forget how rough a ride its been, and how we got lied to/misled at times. The simple fact they left the game in such a state for so long with really lame pvp is on the top of my list atm for reasons I don't rate AV. Sure we have the spotlight, and they haven't done a bad job with that, but they still have to show their true intentions and improve customer/dev relations by making this expansion worth the wait. If its not out mid nov I probably won't sub again, and if its half assed or doesn't address the main problems I will give up on MMOs until MO is released. They made a catalogue of errors along the way, but I still have some faith in their next big patch, but thats as far as I'll go with this company, then I'm done
