you will have to buy time on NA-1 and then contact support to have the remaining EU-1 time transferred to the newly created NA account.

I don't see evidence of Darkfall's devs being dishonest. Both MO and Darkfall have been notoriously bad about deadlines (though I suppose Darkfall still holds the record if you include the countdown to beta and later release).

Don't resub to EU-1 if you're transferring. Transfer your character tomorrow and then create an NA-1 subscription.

Yes, you can still transfer, was mentioned here and in the previous spotlight thread. Really, it's better if you don't have an active EU1 sub, so you don't have to file a support ticket to get days moved over.

What do you mean?... Until someone is stupid enough to enter in the details to transfer their character to their existing NA-1 account, rather than click the "New account" button when they want to keep their NA character?... Hopefully nobody in DF is quite that stupid.

As for the account names/passwords, why would that matter?... As described there are two options, enter in the account details for the entirely separate NA account to transfer your character over to, or enter details to create a completely separate new NA account. You are never using an EU account to log in to anything NA-related or visa-versa, and you don't automatically get an account with the same name.

Forced us to wait three months, which was annoying but people dealt with it. Then we had to wait another month on top of that(3 weeks so far). Including the infamous "soon" and "early next week" which both turned out to be misleading. Transfers should have been within days of the 3 month mark not almost a month later.

you can transfer back but it will cost a fee. And i think there is a delay before you can transfer back. it was in the original oct 30th update i believe sir.

I would only want transfers if they could have been done equitably. The EU server has an unfair competitive edge over US starting months before. The steps taken to correct this are minimal at best.

I use to think this way as well. And then when I started playing my toon on NA more and more I started to notice that I was passing my EU toon. I realize that thier stats will be higher but not by that much. And I know they will have more maxed out schools of magic but the NA players taht grinded it out will be pretty damn close on that lvl. The only real advantage they may have is that they will have more higher ranked crafters since on EU they had the benefit of non-global nodes etc etc. Also thier stats might be looked at as an advantage and in a few fights 4 or 5 more hp may make the difference but its not going to be the norm.

I use to hear about the 300+ hp and 350+ stam ppl going to come over here and rock the NA server. But now I have 300+ hp and 350+ stam with maxed out weapon lines, maxed out magic lines. So its not going to be as bad as the NA players think it will be nor will it be as easy as a lot of the EU players think it will be. Especially after they nerf the higher magic skilled AoEs.

It's certainly going to be chaotic. A lot of EU people made alts on NA to gather resources. I'm anticipating sieges on day 1. I suspect it will be chaotic for at least a month. Even after things "shake out", I'm sure alliances will form and collapse cyclically as they do on EU. I'm assuming the same thing happens on NA.

Your stats are in line with mine and I made my character on day 1 of EU. I think a lot of people will make excuses for getting killed and I'm certain that the "oh you're a transfer" will be a common one, but it's just an excuse. Fact is, you can get to an end-game level in combat skills in a month or less if you do it right. Not everyone does it right, but that's fine. Not everyone can be the best...

My character isn't as developed as a lot of the characters I face on EU. It doesn't matter... End game characters are competitive with each other and the advantages of advanced characters are minimized by game mechanics.

If I lose a fight, it's generally because of one of these reasons.
1. I got jumped in a tactically compromised position (low ground while fighting mobs)
2. Many vs me
3. I screwed up
4. I got out played

I don't feel like I lose fights because my character isn't powerful enough to be competitive, and I'm confident that a character could be developed to be competitive with mine in a month or less (especially after GCD).

Well said, im right there with ya Sarphus. I made my tune a a month or two prior to skill gain patch on EU server, and im just about at 300hp now. I hear many people bragging on having 300+hp on NA server already. Theres no doubt in my mind that if you knew what you were doing on NA you should be up to par with a majority of the EU transfers.

Once your up to a certain point in skills and stats it comes down to player skill rather than character skill. Unless of course your out ganking at the goblin spawn or guys harvesting, but that will never change.

How don't you guys understand that you have 3 months of Grinding on us? I started 2 months ago which means you have everything ive worked for this entire time over what I currently have+some. That being said I cant wait to wipe the floor with you

despite evidence to the contrary, we actually siege and pvp instead of constantly grind in fear of the ebil transfers

back on topic ... is creating and deleting a character sufficient to prevent a name from being usable to enable a name change, or does there have to be an existing character of the same name at the moment of transfer for a name change to trigger?

Hahahaha, you make me laught dude. I'm at the same situation... I'm loving Dragon Age while I wait for the expansion (unsubbed 2 months ago) and I'm afraid of the expansion release because I will leave DAO for sure hehehe (worse for you because you want to transfer. I'm EU :P)

I wonder if the its realy effects the population on the EU server.

Ofcourse it affects, but its minor. Look at my sig for example. I think many US guys stopped playing anyway already till the transfers.
