Depending on what happens after transfers, it may stay stagnant or resurrect itself.

How was the second quote wrong besides being delayed (no surprise)?

My stats/skills are significantly higher than those of all my guild mates who re-rolled NA1. Thus when the transfers happen I'll be "shitting on" those who started anew for no godamn reason.

As nothing of import has really happened on NA1 besides extensive grinding as far as I've seen.

I probably wouldn't even subscribe to play DF again.

I'm not even disgruntled or in bad mood about DF.
Even if i hoped it would be better, the signs it won't were there since the abandoned beta and sudden release.

I sticked with DF a half year subscription, but didn't played much anymore since August.

I had a lot fun in DF, no doubt. Still something was simply not there.
While sieges and PvP were great, all else what makes a RPGMMO lacked.

So PvE was simply too bad to be fun. It served as safe haven for pvp player looking for a easy kill. People farming stuff from mobs were always a good prey for them.

So imho in DF is all tailored for the pvp crowd, and done nothing for the people who like to quest beyond a simple fetch quest. People who like to have a life beyond randomly killing other players if you met them.

But that's not DF.

So i moved on, as always when a promising game become boring.
