I checked how DF was working with WINE and it was a no show. I couldn't get things going at all.

Has anyone else had any luck getting DF running under Linux?

If you cant get it to run under WINE, I think you are out of luck.

Might have to pay the Microsoft tax :P

I thought someone had success with it in beta. Could it be the depencies on DX and C++ 2008 stuff?

Me running the client in linux (ubuntu) - using Crossover Games.

I should add - this was at the end of beta - I have no tested later builds with this.
