My state will not switch from Alabama. Someone else told me this happens with them, too, so it might be for everyone.

I also wasn't allowed to use any "." or "#" in my address. It would successfully update until I took those out.

Same here, cant switch from Alabama to the proper state. Also worth noting is that the archive section has been removed from the forums. Tis is a sad day :(

Not sure if you're getting a different page than I was but it was there for me but very easy to miss. Took me 3 times to find it. It should be on the profile and billing page of account managment on the line below your date of birth.

As it is, you can "pick" the forum account you want the subscription linked to whenever you want. In short, trolling is just as feasible now as it was before.

Not really. All that it means is say I have a manin account named Adam and a troll account named Burt. If I want to post on my troll account, all I need do is switch my forum account in account management to Burt. Then, whenever I chose to post on my main, I can switch the name back to Adam.
As of now, there is still no way for people to know the "ingame" name behind forum accounts. In short, trolling will be just as prevailant as before among those who still play the game.
Forumfall never died, it merely mutated.

They can't ban you from the game for being too critical.

Not really. AV could always check ips in the old system. If they arent banning people for hacks/dupes/exploits, I doubt they will ban for forum insubordination.

Well the main point was that trolls without subscriptions were hanging around forumfall and talking crap about the game when they weren't even playing. Now if you want to troll at least you have to own a subscription...

Go to the accounts page (EU (https://accounts.eu.darkfallonline.com), NA (https://accounts.us.darkfallonline.com/account/index.php)), go to the profile tab, and at the bottom click the button to change the account... It seems like it might take a while to go through or something though... People have posted on Technical Support, which is new with this change, so it definitely works for some people...

The account management page is still broken. Itdoes not store state info, automatically setting it to Alabama. Because of this, new cards cannot be added to purchase a sub as the state info does not match credit cards.

This is my concern. Maybe the forums are online, but I still consider it downtime when nobody can connect and post messages. It's like saying your telephone is connected but you can't call anybody.

Not only does it hinder the actively paying player-base communication, but can also cut into player-created events that we were so proud of our community for taking the initiative to host.

About a minute after I posted that, people started using the sub forum again, so it seems like it did work for some, but others were just beta testers...

All those it is working for seem to have early join dates or be members of clan usergroups though.

I had access to the Subscriber forums up until about two hours ago and all of a sudden I'm locked out. I go to the account information on the european dfo site and actuall add my forum account to it (I didn't have to do that, it just worked before) and it's still not working >_<

We're told that these should be in place by tomorrow and there will be some forum downtime involved. Update: there will be no downtime. Just everyone will be locked out of the forums for no reason for several hours, possibly longer with no dev post explaining why or what is happening.

Fixed my forum posting by changing my forum pass, and then re-linking it in the account management, now I can post.

Guys when I try and link the forum account I put in the details, all is ok and then I check the box to update the profile information and it just says that the email I have provided is already in the database pelase try another one...

Even if you change your email and do not get that error, it will still not work for you. Doesn't for me any way. GG AV

Still cant post in most sections of the forum, relinked account several times but it doesnt help.

It also says that my address seems to be uncorrect, but when i try to modify it in any way and to verify the changes it just resets to the old entries.

The forum account seems to be linked to my game account anyway, but i still can't post in the subscriber forums...
