Hey guys. I just registered and bought Darkfall. At the moment the client download is at 75% and I should be able to play in a few minutes. People have told me that the game can be really rough at the start and say I should ask for tips and join a clan as early as possible. Does anyone have any tips on getting use to the game easily? Or maybe a clan that might be recruiting noobs? Anything would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah well... I dont want my character to look like an upside-down snowman. But, I really havent decided yet.

go to my site in my sig and read the stat leveling "guide" and farming guide. The farming guide will get updated this coming week.

test out the different races and pick what you thought was best for you *use the name generator when your doing this*

try and figure out which 2 handed melee weapon you'll want to use.

save up 100 gold and get yourself the Dawnstaff as your secondary weapon that way you'll last a bit longer when you first start out

do the starter quests so you can get some Bags to help organize your bank early on (i didn't do this and my bank was a mess :bang:)

always know where your Zap towers are, carry a shield and sword with you and bank often.

look @ race or race alliance chat after deciding what race you wanna roll and find a clan recruitment post in one of those two chats. You will not want to stay out of a clan. And find a clan that has their own city/hamlet or else ur just gonna get war decked for ur shit in NPC towns.
