Revive shield doesn't make sense, since when does helping a injured team mate in any type of realistic fighting situation make him invincible?
Also people who get revived can log out fully invincible, pretty lame.

Well.. If they do that they would have to.
A. Have Resurrection give back something along the lines of Half Health.
or
B. Completely remove it.

I don't see why. All you have to do is make sure you cover your team-mates so you can get the injured person to safety before they get hit and go down again.
Teamwork FTW.
Perhaps they could give us an option to drag a downed team-mate so we can get them to cover and then revive.

I think 20-30 secs shield is fine. You definitely should not be able to log out with revive shield up.

Logging out should drop invulnerability, as if the player had drawn a weapon.

The player was dead anyway.
If they're going to get pounded when they are revived then chances are their revivers are going to die anyway.
I don't see why someone should be able to go down, then walk off, revive back to full health, then rejoin the fight.
The thing that makes this an extreme pain in the arse is during seiges you have to go out from behind the walls to gank, or get a hard enough shot to get an insta-kill.

insta-kill is random not about how much health they go below 0

You act like revive is done instantly. Why can't you kill the guy trying to revive him? If you remove the shield then you need to add other factors such as the revived player having substantially more health upon revival and having a longer res timer.
Stating "remove revive shield!" is just silly unless you want it to be a feature that's only done after an entire fight is over, in which case the res time has probably already expired.
well tbh reviving in combat dosnt make alot of sense, it should be used after the fight really

This. 5-10 seconds pls. It stupid to have to chase your enemy back across the war line into enemy area to kill him again.

well. if you fight as a middle skilled player like iam (and many more too), sometimes you have to fight against 2 people (gank team :).
last time i did, i killed one of them and went for the other. but he was that strong i couldnt kill him early enough before he revived the other. real fail. i forget to use my knockback.
but anyway. if i am able to win the fight, i should win it without this lame revive shit. but i know it was my fault.

Aoes and dots from spells would be so extremely annoying if the shield is completely removed i would probably quit! :p

I think insta-kill and gank is one of the best ''ress'' systems in any mmo ive ever played. In some fights you want to leave the nakeds for a minute just to avoid nakedzerg from bindstones and other times you want the insta kill because you dont have time to gank! You get killed by some scrubs jumping you and your friends fight them off and help you up, its just the way it should be! :D
Nothing says ''your ass is mine'' with the same attitude as a really nice gank! :rolleyes:
