(i will like to apologize for my rant, i just wanted to get this out, i dont know if these have been mentioned before so im just saying them)

Just want to through out what i want to see with specializations. im afraid that they are going to make specializations like spell upgrades were you just buy it, i really dont want to see this. i think specializations should be leveled so they are more like a class you level into and not like a talent spec. Some examples being if you lvl jump shot you would use less stam when jumping with a arrow ready (you may start out using more stam jumping with a arrow and may end using less stam jumping with an arrow (then you would normally) making the skill possibly more desirable). it continues with you doing more damage to people with staffs as you lvl your mage killer. i really want to pick up this skill and i think it would be nice to see me do almost as much damage with my arrows as they do with there lvl 50 spells. don't want it to be to good so magic still is viable but should make killing infernoing fire mages a little easier and less suicidal.

When you want to spec out you completely lose the skill and it resets to 1 if you get it again. I think this would help this game last longer as some people will spend large amounts of time perfecting specs by dropping and adding specializations.

Finally i think it would be nice to eventually see each weapon type have some different speed and damage so there might be some slower and stronger swords, faster weaker polearms and weaker wider range axes. i dont completely know how to fairly do this but i would really like to see a giant slow sword that hits almost as hard as a polearm or axe. i dont think this should be taken to far, i like how each weapon type has its characteristics but i think it would be nice to see some versatility for weapon users besides leveling another weapon skill. This could also be used to turn daggers into two handed weapons (so people can finally get dual swords/axes/maces).

While im at it might as well mention the problem with cannons in some cities that are able to be turned inward and used against the city its suppose to defend, it would be nice for this to be fixed either by changing weapons placement/arc or making them unable to damage buildings.

There are other things that i can think of but for now i would like to say this. i like the direction you seem to be going with this game (what i have said has probably been mentioned).

(sorry again for the block of text and horrible use of paragraphs and grammer and for veering away from my initial topic)

tabing back and forth when writing this (did it in class and never read through it).

what im saying is that specializations should be bought and leveled like a skill and not added like a spell upgrade (which is not leveled).

This isn't a bad idea.

It would at least stop people from jumping between specialisations ever 24 hours, because 24 hours wouldn't even be enough time to get the skill to a noticeable level.

its specializations, if you dont want to get it then don't. its made for the people who do want to specialize there characters in some way. there are people that are starting to run out of things to level. i know i am and i only started 2 months ago (im leveling mainly my archery and 2hander though).

i want to lvl my specializations and have them be effective, not just go and buy a small passive bonus that i cant increase and continue to grind magic. it brings down the value of a specialization if someone can just go buy it and use it at its maximum potential without spending time leveling it.
