A house owner should be able to be friended to another person's house. You can only be friended to one house at a time.

The simplest way I can think of to do this is by adding another purchasable skill: 'Friend House Recall'

/house_recall -> takes you to the house you own (if you own one)
/friend_house_recall -> takes you to the house you're friended to

One workaround is to transfer ownership of your house to someone else. Have them kick you from the house. Then get invited to the 2nd house.

This of course requires that you trust the person you are giving your house to. This is one advantage of being with a guild through thick and thin since NA launch XD
