EDIT: NEVERMIND READ THE DF SPOTLIGHT, NO STATS CAP

"Characters will be transferred without any items but with all their stats. The devs have looked into the stats between the two servers and they don’t feel this will be an issue."

"Undoubtedly an influx of mature characters will affect things on the NA server but the existing population is prepared for it."

This suggestion is very straightforward. Most players who have had their characters for a long time on EU have very high stats. This is partially because of changes that made increasing stats harder to accomplish. When comparing the Skills of NA1 players and EU1 players, there isnt a huge deficit to the point that capping skills of transferring players is necessary. When comparing the average stats of an EU player to an NA player, the difference is enormous.

If you cap vitality/strength on characters transferring from EU1 to NA1, you are not penalizing the majority of players who transfer if you put the cap at a high number. You are however, preventing a select few players from having a huge edge. Very few NA1 players have above 50 vitality.

When determining what to bring stats down to on transferring EU characters it is important to not just throw out some blanket number, like "50 on everything HUR DUR". AV should look at the average stats on NA characters for each individual stat, and set the cap for transferring characters slightly higher then the average.

stupid

This is essentially preventing leveling, why don't we reset stats every time a new player joins the game? Yes some players will have a stat advantage, and in a month or a few months that will be gone.

No you fucking moron, I didnt. Rigor max just means that your banded set becomes slightly weaker then a scale set. 100 vitality and 100 stength means you have 100+ more HP then someone with 50 in both. I do think it will make a huge impact on the health of NA1, hell; maybe shitty players like you will be able to compete with gods like myself.

This is very different then "preventing leveling" and the stats will continue to be higher for a VERY long time. Anyone who played in beta/EU knows that high vitality and strength was almost always achieved by afk swimming into a fucking wall. The gains on swim were nerfed to be like 1/10 what they once were. After 3 months on EU, I had 80 vitality and str. Doing the same thing on NA, I have 41 vitality and 39 strength.

It isnt resetting stats every time a new player joins the game, its a huge influx of people coming to our server from your server that now have a huge edge.

there are probably less than 20 people transferring with over 400 hp. lets cry about them together.

i'd be more concerned about the 100s of players with 50+ intensifies in 5-6 magic schools and every damage spell between 75 and 100. You havent lived until you've fought a guy with 5+ nukes primed on surging, you are dead without having a chance of doing at all.
