Shrapnel trick is common knowledge.
Wall of force doesn't work as a root unless the person changes direction/stops moving, so when you fight someone with it, don't stop moving.

Earth is not part of the "ultimate mage template" except for one aoe and some buffs, the nukes aren't worth using.

You want cursed bolt for killing mounts.

And if his current toon is in desperate housewives that's disconcerting, as I've argued with people before that TDH are honest players, and Apoc, however, is not.

Some do, not all but all the "main" ones, but it's only very very very few, i'd say 3 at most. Someone told me he had someone link them to him, so at least 1.

Maybe the people in old hyperion should make a thread about what they actually did do? Because general speculation and a bunch of old screenshots of duchy conversations wouldn't put what they discussed too far out of line, though it seemed more like a joke to me than reality.



And for those who are saying Apoc is not legit. I don't know what he did on his last character, but obviously he said had macroed on it.

Apparently people have been banned for just that before so there is no point in making accusations against a player who is currently playing entirely legit.

From that day i started pming him everyday calling him sucker till he quit/got banned. Paradigm was fucking horrible and a bunch of cheaters and cocky people.

Banned for teleporting was the word from some who had joined his guild then left after he was found to be hacking. They ALWAYS say it was due to macroing, lol It is funny how they let them resubscribe also.

FYI.

In its Prime, the Hyperion clans donated 600 gold and 400 resources per member per week to the Royal Treasury which was used to pay for War, or projects like Shipyards. How the clans got that money was up to the clans (Wessex used Taxes) It is worth noting that BLOOD had a higher tax than Hyperion ever did back in the day.

There was never any restrictions on what anyone could use or do. Hyperion was built on "Practical Roleplay" and telling somone to cripple their character for roleplay is so stupid, that if you beleive somone would do that then you need your head examined.

Knights were established leaders in combat and were granted the position for pvp ability alongside the ability to lead. Why would a pvper limit what he can do to win a fight?

Yes Hyperion did Drills, the formations were not used in combat much after the first month or so when it was obvious that Darkfall didnt really support decent formation combat like we had hoped. However there was a few good moments it worked when an double archer line decimated a mounted Charge into a city during a siege.

The community team is doing a good job keeping us in the know and i totally support the job they are doing but this is FAR from a good podcast, filled with disinformation discussed with a known banzor'd cheater.

I don't know if he hacks or had hack accounts, was just commenting on exploits and macros. That just became part of the game due to the way AV enforced it (or their lack of punishment), and because of the grind.

Well this guy was banned for hacking, that said even exploiting should be frowned upon. I know alot of people who want to see most of the exploits stamped out.

Not only that, the only stuff on the forums about me when you search my character name are stories and tidbits of great fights people had with me and half of them give props. Interesting. I'm still the same old guy.

In many corresponding emails with AV, I was first told I was banned for macroing. After I pushed for my account to be unbanned and providing a screenshot of an in-game GM saying "I just read the notes on your account, I have no clue why you're banned. Or at least why you're still banned." the story changed a bit and now I've been told my account is under investigation for "possible duping".

I'm sure people will start screaming "duper" now, but oh well :P

I play this game for enjoyment, just as I have all the other MMO's I've played. Why I'm given so much shit for being good at the game, who knows. My current reagent supplier has recently openly told me he plays the game for a living. He literally farms gold and sells it online to pay his rent. How he does this, dunno.

I guess I just need to realize when people say this nonsense it's really them just being upset and possibly ashamed for getting owned by me/friends, and not really a direct attack let alone accusation.
