So we all know the two greatest qualities to have are intelligence and good looks.

Good looks gets you women/men, makes you feel desired, boosts your personality and makes you awesome.

Intelligence is pretty cool but doesn't get you laid as good as good looks does unless you also know how to make money.

Self-esteem is tied into good looks, those who are good looking have higher self esteem, and those who have higher self esteem get laid more often and are more desirable.

So fellow narcissists, discuss on self-esteem, good looks and general vanity.

Anyway, the good looking ones are going to get laid more regardless. The self-esteem thing only comes in handy if they're average or even plain unattractive, with enough confidence they can still be fuckable.

Not relaly true, many people with good looks and models etc. are real wrecks psychologically. Anorexia sure ain't at the height of self esteem.

What one looks like matters very little and not only because positive image can be artificially crafted but because the main thing that matters psychologically is what reaction you provoke from people around you and that is determined by many more factors than what degree of an angle a certain curve in your face is. Self-esteem probably can be tied to something neurochemically too, dopamine?

Self esteem may also have nothing to do with looks. I would consider myself average when it comes to physical attractiveness yet I have high self esteem, not in the sence that I think I am anything special but rather I feel I am capable of doing anything I set my mind to. Self confidence is my biggest contributor when it comes self esteem.

'Good looks' is just a perspective that can easily change based on multiple things i.e. a 'good looking person' can look unattractive simply by slouching, or (to me at least) a sleek pair of glasses can enhance a beautiful face. Not to mention the whole thing on makeup where an ugly fat mole can be magically changed into something that pleases the eye.

I have had girls tell me plenty of times that I'm attractive, or had friends tell me their girl friends refer to me as "their cute friend", but still since my personality is so un-approaching the only time I ever really meet a girl is when we're both drunk.

And then on the other hand I have a friend who is a complete and utter frat douchebag (I don't refer to him so much as a 'friend' anymore) and he get's laid like it's going out of style. He's a moron to boot. I don't get this world sometimes.

I was here around two months before I started posting, I had seen the game years ago but never followed it, vapourware and all that. Heard about it again from a friend, started looking occasionally and ended up spending all my time reading OT then decided to create an account once I heard about beta, if it wasn't for the whole drum up of beta, I wouldn't have made an account at all most likely.
