Hello everyone and welcome to the Darkfall Spotlight forum!
I should start by saying that we're already working proactively on getting answers to the obvious questions, the ones being posted on the forums over and over for some time now. We're aware of them and we'll be giving you feedback on them as we get it from the developers.
This thread works as a concentration point for all your questions. Please post them in here. The devs have been made aware of it and they'll be checking it regularly. We're hoping for a pretty quick turnover, answering as we go.
We'll also make it a habit of including some of your questions in Aventurine's internal newsletter.

Alright.
If local banking is incoming (at whatever point) will it necessitate a server wipe?
How are you addressing the skill cap argument? Will the original softcap be seen? Are there any larger overhauls you have planned for the skill system itself?
Will we see a revamp of the spell system with new/changed spells and unique utilities? When will we see a truly finalized set of spell animations?
Are there plans to change combat/stamina mechanics to broaden melee actions and stop circle-strafing?
Other than player controlled locales, how are you making the world dynamic and really alive? Perhaps more dynamic/realistic monster spawns or worldwide events?
Will we see rewards for exploration? I mean, instead of discovering yet another mob spawn (that may or may not whoop your butt), you might find a relic (activates to give group a buff) or interesting bit of lore?
In what ways are you using each genre that DF is a part of (RPG, MMO, FPS, RTS) as inspiration? Are there any particular ideas these genres have recently (or not so recently) used/developed that you would like to see DF emulate?
What optimizations and changes do you have in store for the UI and web-based UI?
Are you satisfied with the current in-game communication? If not, in what ways are you planning on improving it? Will we see more direct chat functions (text above head, for instance)?
Writable books/scrolls/etc., will we ever see them?
In what ways has DF followed your initial plans and how has it taken unexpected turns in terms of your development and the players' approach to it?
What changes do you intend for sieges and city management to make them both more worthwhile and enjoyable?
PS sorry if these are too suggestion-y
Will global cooldowns on certain types of spells ever be implemented? I don't want to waste my time levelling multiple elemental skills to then have global cooldowns on AOE nuke's introduced (by way of example).

Wel, lets start of!
- Bank bug, This need a fix, and FAST. so, is there an ETA on when/actions taken against abusers (as per a GM conversation "they can not be banned for using a in-game mechanic that is flawed" )
- Expansion 2 details, anything on them yet before the patch notes hit us in the face? some of us like to be prepared for change by stocking reagents and whatnot, it'd be nice to have some warning.
Racial abilites/local banking/caravans are all being speculated on WILDLY... some real info would be much welcomed.
On to speculation:
- Gui
It was mentioned in a interview some time ago that you were considering a GUI overhaul (possibly customisable gui elements?) what is the status of this or has it been canned?
- Advertisement
A small add at mmorpg.com is the first sign we've seen of any real advertisement for Darkfall... and with a shrinking playerbase this is something that is definetly needed "to get the word out-there". word of mouth may have sufficed at release (obviously with the limited release) but now it's not - and we need new, flesh and more blood. (yes, bad pun intended).

Prestige classes were originally said to be in and intended to be put in game after launch. Was the idea of going without a skill cap based on prestige classes, and are they still planned to be put in game? Great idea with this thread as well was much needed.

Is the Clan Pages going to be updated to be more user friendly? Right now I have a script that is made to handle binds and parse information from clan pages because the tools currently available are really inadequate to my needs as an SG of a clan that owns multiple properties.

Can you please fix the bug where half your items disappear after bindstone recalling or using a runestone.
Its pretty annoying when ur chasing a juicy target and suddenly your bow is not in slot 3 anymore and nor is it in your backpack.

What plans you have for 2 most pressing issues.

Why are skill level ups being nerfed to be slower when so many have had the advantage of leveling them up faster to begin with? This only hurts newer players and makes it more difficult to compete.
Will wolves receive their 4 leg run in future patches?
- I want to emphasize about siege: There still are plans to rework the siege rules, expecially the siege-without-asset rules? Siege are one of the key feature of the game, and at the moment they aren't really funny and they have many issues (like challenger disconects). - Before the game release you've admitted that neither you were satisfied by the current sprint/stamina mechanics and there was a possibility that you were going to rework it after release. Have you dropped this possibility or are you still working on that? (i want to suggest an extension of it: http://forums.darkfallonline.com/showthread.php?t=193605)
- Strictly related to the question above, have you any plan to make the close combat mechanics more interesting and tactical? (i have some suggestion here: http://forums.darkfallonline.com/showthread.php?p=3672138)
(another main point would be about a real character specializzation with something like a cap or another deep specializzation system, but i know that your're already informed about how much important is this question)

Skill and Stat caps, and skill decay. Give people a straight honest answer on what is going on here? Will these things be implemented? When? How? If not, Why?
Do you remember pre release when you said "All Race" Clans would be rare and disadvanted? In your live game that's pretty much all there is, it's faction compliant clans that were disadvantaged and as a consequence eventually became rare...very rare. I would just like to hear developers thoughts on how this turned out and whether they're happy with the status quo and have any plans to put the lore back in the game?

My general question is: Has your vision for the game changed at all since release, or do you still plan to implement all of the features of the game as per the original featurelist?
You seem to be gradually implementing them all so my guess is that you will eventually do so.

In addition to the questions already asked about multiple times, could you shed some light on the following:
Ships and naval combat - Can we expect to see the cannon damage of ships be increased, movement speed/manuverability of ships enchances, ect... ??? Currently ships (including man-o-war) are basically worthless and severly disappointing. This is largely why naval engagements are largely non-existent.
Skill level increases/macro'ing - Will the concept of diminishing returns every be implimented in order to create a disincentive to marco'ing? (i.e. increasing less skill gain when skills are used repeated over short period of time)
Dungeons - Are there going to be improvements to the dungeon systems? (i.e. more dungeons, increase size of dungeon areas, unqiue dungeon "boss"-type mobs, ect...)
I know it's already been asked... but... ETA on NA-1 transfer & new expansion.

I dont think it was intended as a troll question, i am worried about the same thing. The population is dwindling as it is, with transfers i am truly worried about the fate of the EU server. I would definately like to know if the developers are aware of this situation and are planning some kind of action to thwart the current downward spiral. I want EU to survive!

Is group PVE being adressed in the near future?
As it is now going out with more than 2 people is not efficient anymore. The really hard mobs need more people but yield no adequate loot eg closing the imbalance of killing a devil with a group of ten compared to going out solo doing medium sized mobs.

Mounted Combat: The Weight Handicap!
Background:
Supposedly it was complaints about Jump-Spin Archery & Magic that led to the improvement of magic and now soon archery. Initially, the ability for mages to Jump shoot was removed. Later it was given back through an improved spell system. Archery for some time now has not had a Jump spin ability. The community expects for that to come back in the next major content update. Game finesse is taken out and later re-introduced in a more appropriate way.
Likewise, mounted combat was severely punished in the last expansion due to complaints. Me, my friends & all cavalry specialists who are very skilled on mounts took a personal and hard blow when the suggestion from a part of the community (that didn't fight mounted imo) of making small mount figurines weigh 100 kg were implemented. We have stopped fighting the way we loved to - much like Jump spin archers who became AoE mages with a twist of archery (Eg. Speed Lovaah). - There is a big demand & wish in the community to specialize because mastering everything is too complicated and requires a lot of time and effort.
Some developers might feel they immediately introduced balance by presenting us the 2x health Battlehorn, which now has armour. And now mounts are no longer swampy/sticky on top. So you can mount and dismount very swiftly. Even faster when taken into consideration that you no longer have to sheathe your weapon.
Those measures are very, very welcome. I thank the developers for the attention they have given cavalry specialists. Thank you. However, I still feel the increased mount weight is a big obstacle and the battlehorn wasn't neccesarily a blessing. I feel there are problems.
The problems:
The Battlehorn:
Is very heavy;
Very difficult to Bunnyhop on hills (poor chasing/poor getaway)
Increased Fall damage on BH from lower heights (decreases 2x health advantage)
Fat/Bulky sides limiting sword reach slightly (high learning curve, poor offensive ability)
Odd Forward Slashing other mounts due to increased BH height - Mounts hit you easier from behind as they can see your body in their crosshair from behind, but your battlehorn is so tall and blocks view that you have to keep guessing where to slash. (poor mount-to-mount effectiveness)
Very vulnerable to environment due to fatness - Cannot access many areas and have to turn for 5 seconds to get out of a stuck position where you thought you could get through (poor vs. foot in environment)
Impossible to see tag of enemy in many cases. Forces you to dismount and scout. (poor siege effectiveness. poor teamplay. poor awareness. Limits 360* mount advantage.)
Very easy to hit target. (Very poor getaway. Practically impossible when meteor striked - the whole community laughs at mounts now. Poor defensive ability)
There are also advantages to using a battlehorn. But, having 2x health is quickly eliminated by the above negatives. So it is NOT a replacement of carrying 7 mounts for PvE/ Solo PvP. 5 mounts for safe group PvP, 10 mounts for sieges or 15 mounts for 1v1 stake duels. The developers make a mistake if they think it is a replacement.
I am so grateful for the removal of stickyness and the ability to mount, dismount so fast now. I am experimenting and practicing with quick dismount/healing now. Since cavalry is vulnerable due to no casting while mounted. Also, I have discovered that the developers increased the drop rate of steedgrass on Yssam - thank you very much. It was very nice of you :) I have suggestions on how to improve the situation even more, but first I'd like to ask a question.
The 2 Questions:
"Do the developers consider Mounted Combat equal of Melee. Magic. Archery?"
"When they take out and re-implement features from Magic and Archery. Will they do the same with mounted combat?"
... I think mounted combat was not planned to become so popular with the players. It was just a gimmick. Like cheap little ships. But, it is a concrete fact that mounted combat completely replaced any other method of combat for 3 mounts for some players in Darkfall. It became a real nice niche and peaked in popularity above magic and archery for some time.
I feel Mounted Combat deserves true recognition. I feel Mounted Combat deserves a skill set and skill upgrades. It is important that the developers guarantee or show through development that they respect players that belong to this niche.
(Just as they respect players using Magic. Melee. Archery. Because those also have skill sets.)
My suggestions:
Mounted Combat Upgrades:
- Ability to leave mount for up to only 10 seconds so you can jump off and heal in peace without it being stolen. (Mount storage time can be increased slightly to keep mount thieves interested) (Dropping mounts for teammates is good. Maybe allow group members to take your mount without waiting 10 seconds)
- Regular Mounts should weigh 50kg as they are not in reality as heavy as the battlehorn and have 50% health. (The iron & leather required to make a battlehorn will explain the armour difference.)
- A new skill to increase carried weight in your backpack only for when you carry mounts. The extra limit will not be universal like Pack Mule. It will affect just mounts and perhaps other figurines.
The Ability to leave your mount will increase combat efficiency for mounted combat users. Hopefully the best and brightest of those using mounted combat will have the ability to understand their weakness of not being able to heal and even loot or buff others or heal others!! And use this to even the playing field a bit. It will make things more interesting and you could even see players running straight into the battlefield at a siege to jump off their mount and heal a player in need with witches brew as the low teammate sprints around the healer's mount. The healer will then re-mount quickly and run away or start fighting the enemy. In normal PvP, these healers will be mobile and fight amongst other players while being on the mount. But, when the healer/mounted combat players are low they will drop from their mount by a teammate on purpose to cast witches brew to get their own health up as well as their teammates who hug to the mount.
I don't think the effect of this will be overpowered. It will be a small increase and make things more interesting by helping to re-introduce mounted combat into competitive PvP.
For mounted combat users to be equal to players on foot again the mounted combat players will also have to be given a way to increase their magical and arrow protection while mounted by a significant amount so they don't get so low health due to no healing. So the moment they mount up they have added a mount buff, giving them an appropriate amount of protection.
- This is another way of helping low health mounted combat players stay alive when the rest of the battlefield is running around casting witches brew and stam 2 health.
When the developers created a cap for mount weight they eliminated a lot of freedom in combat for players. It had a massive effect. Carried weight was never a problem. Now it is. The mounted combat player specialist is a really stripped template and now there is less freedom to it. Mounts get absolutely raped in fights.
Last Part: (I lose track and get lost in text and brainstorming. .. read it because you are a developer and need to see another point of view. Even if you might know this already. Because you might learn something or it might provoke thought.
... Mounts may be used by some people for hopping on and getting away when they are in trouble. But, I don't care if they do that. I use it as a main weapon and I risk a lot by making myself a big target *practically* unable to heal (or barely able to heal) when I fight! So I think it is fair if the developers will recognize this part of the playerbase and allow them to specialize.
It was beautiful when players using just mounted combat could compete with players on foot. There were big debates on what was best and both sides proved to be best at different times. It was fun to play with this kind of diversity and being able to do well against people who didn't think you could.
There are many players who want a soft cap. But, what they really want is not a soft cap. Because that will make them lose freedom and grind more. Those players really want protection from the hardcore grinders or the best PvPers that own everything they encounter. They think this protection can be given to them with a soft cap or by limitations.
I think the demand in the community is currently the desire to specialize and do well. A lot of us get headaches when we have to enter into the extreme complexity of Darkfall and be able to fight against everything.
I suppose the problem can be solved if simple fighting techniques can be made more effective compared to the current incredible effective complex techniques being used now (magic cycling and jump spinning, archery switching, melee(polearm jousting w/ whirlwind))
Players were more happy back in the mana missile days. They could still kill people with simple tools. Now, that is impossible.
This is the same as mounted combat. Simple and effective. But, we can't kill anything anymore because the mount dies so fast and we can't use more. Also, players get shot more easily off of their mount now. So that simple tool is taken away.
A lot of us are willing to learn more advanced techniques. .. but, we play 5-6 hours a day. I play much more.
The community wants simple techniques to be more effective again. But, the community also wants the possibility of complex techniques to work. Because when they get to that place in their game they want it to be rewarding.
Its a real mess. ... The best way to satisfy noobs and hardcores is to make noobs better fast and not gimp the hardcores who have a beloved amount of complexity to play with (sick key bindings, diversity in combat tools available, many different ways of fighting). Don't make the hardcores mad when you tweak them. Try to tweak appropriately keeping the noob and hardcore in mind. The hardcore must be given appropriate tools to give him complexity. Because hardcore is end game. And they will stay with your game if you think about them. But noobs are already angry, they might leave. Focus on both groups. Because noobs creates the vast majority. They dont post. They play the game and they are in clan chats and vents.. Then they quit. Some of them never even talk much. They just play the game, then quit. And you never know what happened.. But, that's what happened. They were defeated cause simple tools were not enough to do something.
Noobs were already given a much easier time with the increased EXP! The hardcore cavalrists need to be able to heal. That is complex and requires a lot of practice to master, but should be possible.
At the same time the noob will need more. And the reason to that is one thing. Noobs with skills and spells get owned very fast in PvP now. A lot of people are very strong and good now. They own big time. Even if u play a lot and do everything u can think of. They still own. And getting owned all the time is not fun.
So somehow make the step easier from noob with skills/spells - to - medium noob/hardcore who can compete in PvP with a simple template.

Do you think it will ever be possible to say, double the view distance currently in-game for those of us who have computers that can handle it. This does not need to be see players x2 as far away, but I'd really like to be able to see double the amount of terrain I currently do.
Would this ever be possible, if not why?

Let me clarify the way the Questions Thread will work so there isn't any confusion. We'll be taking all these questions to the devs and getting answers back to you as they come through. We do need a couple of days to process all of them and once done we hope to start getting you some good answers. Keep in mind tomorrow is patch day so the devs are incredibly busy at the moment.
That said, we've seen some really great and constructive questions coming from you so keep it up! You should start seeing the first answers by the end of the week.

Will mobs continue to be rebalanced? When you changed mob AI in the last patch, you also made a lot of them unkillable/unprofitable again. You can't ever expect people to fight these things in large groups when the reward is less than that of a goblin after you split it between everyone.

The Questions
Every other question is bold for increased legibility.
Recently, the community received confirmation of a second expansion coming in October. A lot of the things mentioned sound quite cool - what is your favorite upcoming feature, and why?
Last time we heard about transfers, character 'adjustments' were seeming less and less likely. How certain is it that the North American players remaining on EU-1 will be able to keep all of the skills and statistics they have trained?
Currently, most players feel that some forms of combat are inordinately stronger than others. In particular, magic is currently seen as the strongest form of attack due to the ease of landing hits combined with high damage. Melee is seen as by far the worst, as a player will almost never be in melee combat unless his opponent(s) wants to be as well. Does the development team see this as an issue?
Following up on the previous question, are there any changes in the works which would improve the ability of a melee combatant to stay near his or her target (possibly as part of the upcoming melee specialization abilities)?
Still on the topic of balance: With the upcoming increase to skill gain rates, the average damage output of a given character is about to increase dramatically. Healing spells can't really keep up with AoE damage as it is, and since more people will be obtaining high-ranked spells post-patch, healing will be (relatively speaking) even weaker. Is this an intended consequence? How do you think the damage:healing balance should be aligned?
Character diversity has grown slightly since the first expansion, but all top-tier characters are still mostly the same despite the beginnings of the character customization system. Are there any concrete plans on how to increase diversity in the future beyond adding basic specialization abilities to Archery and Melee?
What future plans lie in store for the crafting system and in-game economy. Are you happy with the way things are now, and are there any new crafting or economy-related features planned? In addition, are there plans to add higher quality versions of the basic materials (e.g. iron ingots, wood)?
Are you satisfied with the state of text communication in Darkfall? Are there plans to overhaul it in any way, and if so, how?
The community has shown to be rather split on the issue of ARAC clans and alliances. While they are the norm, some players feel that there should be some sort of incentive to stick to a single racial alliance. Is the introduction of small ARAC penalty, like perma-gray status for ARAC clan members, being considered?
Lore and roleplaying, are you expanding these aspects in DF (other than with quests), and if so how? As examples: Will we ever see scrolls/books that we can write in, intractable objects and secrets which give insights to lore, or dynamic actions on the part of the npc races/factions?
What issues, if any, would Aventurine like the community to focus its suggestions on? What are the characteristics of a good community suggestion?

What's the deal with the magic support skills not doing anything? For example, Intensify Lesser Magic, etc. Skilling them up seems to have no effect. I submitted a help ticket for Intensify Lesser Magic as an example, and they eventually said they're looking into it and they closed the ticket.
This would seem an easy thing to fix, put in a multiplier of some sort.
I'm guessing that none of these support skills actually do anything and this is backed up by what I've heard from others regarding other magic schools as well.

Sorry this is not the place to do so, but i have durable spells air, and not earth or fire, and the duration of my agility is heavily higher than brawn or impetus. Just an example. I know a lot more proves of at least the first 25-50-75 upgrades working. I believe they are just slight, like mining mastery only gives a 20% bonus at 100. If you want to keep up with the argument let's do so in pm, this is not the place to do it.
On topic:
-Do you have any plans on adding anything else to pve and exploring other than admiring beautiful visuals and killing monsters? Making some things interactable, making mob spawns responsive to players(example: a goblin camp should start getting more and more goblins if you keep camping it and eventually tougher kinds of goblins, in a kind of "response" to that. Would be better if, when wandering mobs are implemented, goblins came from a different camp to "help" this one); making some things acquirable by exploring BUT NOT exploitable(as in everybody does it) or predictable. You actually have to explore to find it; etc... What do you think about all of this?
Include group pve in this concern.
-What is the actual idea of the wandering mobs? How would they work?
-What do you think about the whole pvp-only, pvp-focused, sandbox argument? Is your game only about pvp and the rest is just a way to get it; is pvp the main focus but not a necessary part or the only one that can be fun by itself, or is pvp just one of the many aspects you want to get from your game?
-What do you think about increasing heavy armour protections, (more increase for heavier armour, less increase for less heavy armour, starting from plate). This has been suggested plenty of times and it seems pretty much everybody agrees on it. What is your idea regarding this? Will it be incompatible with your ideas for melee and archery or you believe it could be another thing to take into account?

There is currently little to gain for getting taming, herbalism or cooking past 50 skill, because you don't unlock any new craftables. Do you plan to add more content to these skills?
Someone asked about a tailoring mastry skill being added. I am also interested in whether there will be an alchemy mastry skill. How about a mastry for taming or enchanting.
Breaking down raw materials (timber, ore) into crafting materials is currently really boring and grind-like. Are you guys considering adding a woodcutting and smelting mastry skill to speed the process along?
Lots of people have interpreted the news about localized banking to infer that all banking in DF will be localized. I read the same arcticle to say that localized banking will be added to the game, but global banking and clan banking will still exist similar or identical to how it exists now. Which is correct?
Are there any plans to scale AoE damage down when a target is barely inside the AoE of the spell?

Many people complain about missing features vanishing without explanation, and then list things that we KNEW weren't going to be in game. A few things DID drop off the radar without any mention however, and some of them are popping up in the expansion, like roaming NPC mobs.
Are there any plans to have NPCs build up strength, loot players, and attack cities, which I believe was mentioned at one point or another?
And a question I've been asking the dev in IRC for a while (but it was outside of his field)...
There have been missing story elements in Darkfall. A long time ago there was a contest to design a quest to be put into Darkfall. The quest was fairly involved and sounded really cool, but as far as I know it never made it into the game despite winning the contest.
Other story elements are missing, such as : There is supposed to be a large dungeon beneath Cairn with Chaldean secrets and artifacts. In the articles on the old site (told from the first person of some explorer) he explored these ruins, but I've never found them in game. Maybe it was just a lore thing?
And here's the 3 big ones, all kind of related. At least one of these is already partially in. The big baddie for the mainland, according to lore, is The Watcher. He has a massive fortress in the blight in the center of the map, and his fortress is in the game. However, it wasn't populated before. Now it is... but there is no quest, and no Watcher. I was under the impression that these huge bosses would be one time kills, or massively significant if they did die. I figure there are probably bigger fish to fry than getting The Watcher in game, but are there any plans for it, or was it dropped? What about the Red Pharoh, the Ice Giant, the Celestial Dragon for the minor continent?
And lastly, word stones. The whole storyline of the game was based around these word stones. They were originally used to kill the Goddess, and turned those that killed her into demi gods. Some of these went on to do rather important things, like create the Alfar. Some of them are actually supposed to be in the game, but are not. Wordstones were supposed to be scattered around the world and give bonuses to those who own them. Were these replaced by Wonders, or are there plans to add them? I think it would add an interesting aspect to PvP, much like relics did in Dark Age of Camelot.
That is all for now, just very curious, because while this is a PvP centric game, it is also a sandbox, and things like these help make the world alive.

I.e. Will their be any improvements to the economy so that trading will be an even more viable route?
- I know you're going to add player made stalls but will they stay in the game when you're logged off?
- Do you plan on improving the way hamlets are, such as adding defensive walls, have the option to build watchtowers around the area? ie make them more attractive for smaller clans to use that want to focus on crafting, player hubs, PvP, PvE etc?
- What do you plan on doing to deter people from using afk macro's etc, will you make it easier to gain mana/stamina/health, harder? get higher skill gains from going out and killing mobs (Vitality from Melee mobs, Intelligence from magic using mobs, Dexterity from Archer mobs etc?)

Any thought to putting in new mounts? Not just new skins but mounts that "do" stuff. Maybe a mount with almost no hitpoints but runs really fast for traveling around the world. A siege mount that doesnt kick/bite players but does damage to houses/clanstones/buildings? A offensive mount that doesnt let you swing a weapon but bites for more damage and leaps around. A mount that works in the water, armored dolphin for the win that can dive down and move at regular speed in the water.

Is there going to be more in-game support for the lore and expanded lore? As it is, only the very underdeveloped quest system has any support for the lore. There is nothing to encourage racial warfare since ARAC clans have no penalty and actually have advantages over non-ARAC clans. I don't think more quests is exactly the answer, since this game is more about open world clan vs. clan warfare. It would be nice to see what steps AV is doing to expand their world lore and add more interesting details to the world. It'd be nice to know for example why a certain mob is there, and why certain structures were built. Lore-friendly clans are a huge minority in the game because they are at an extreme disadvantage vs. those that don't pay attention to it.
More quests would also be nice, as it is quests only exist in the mainland of Agon, and have little to no challenge to them, there are time consuming ones (Title quests), but the others are more of a "Darkfall Tutorial" than anything else, and the many many clans living on the Sub-continents have no local access to the lore or quests, which means the PvE centered players/clans are all situated on the mainland.

I know it sounds silly with so many other balance issues and stuff to care about, but Lore, I never really care for it in games, but when it's something that make or break the game I take a stand for it.
I read through the lore today just to get a clue about what I was playing.
I never understood that the lore included "paths" also mentioned in the lore.
For example, I play a dwarf.
Order of the Axe
The Order of the Axe are knights sworn to removing all obstacles to the racial progress of the dwarves. The agents of this semi-official Order also deal with rogue dwarves, and they are frequently sent on missions behind enemy lines.
That part is taken from the "races of Agon"
What that one says to me is, you can join this organization and you get a title saying your part of the Order of the Axe that you can chose to view, or it's invisible but it gives you access to things, ordinary dwarfs don't have access to, you get quests that are for example, kill this Red dwarf because he is a sinner, bounty hunter jobs.
It's an already established "guild" that you can take as your profession, it will have a major impact on your time ingame, what your able to do and what your unable to do.
Same goes for.
Five Beards Trading Company
Oldest and wealthiest of the dwarven merchant houses, the Five Beards Trading Company sends traders, explorers and caravans to all but the most obscure and dangerous of Agon's regions. For centuries, Five Beards has enjoyed a near monopoly on trade with Ymir's Tear, but in recent years, King Sigurd has opened up the market for competition. As a result, Five Beards is looking for new markets in which to profit.
Chose to join these and your in the "neutral" trading company that works for your own benefit and for the better of all dwarfs.
Here you get access to cheaper Caravans, you it has a "auction house" it fulfills the need as a trader that you currently lack in Darkfall.

Voice of Ymir
The Voice of Ymir is a sprawling bureaucracy dedicated to ensuring that Ymir's commands are interpreted correctly, and that the dwarves stay on his Path. Currently, the Voice is being hijacked by the ambitious King Sigurd, who secretly cares little for the Path, but who wishes to use the bureaucracy (and its large corps of engineers) for his own purposes.
To get access to the major halls of Ymirs Tear, here you discuss "wars" for the dwarfs, if King Sigurd is still alive, you have the quest to end his reign, and it's a major benefit for all of the dwarven empire, the "wonder" is re established, and all neutral / good, dwarfs get what a wonder owned by a clan would do.
So much manny quests, so manny ways to play the game part of how it's currently played emerge from these few lines of text, please tell me atleast some of it will be in game if I wait long enough, or are they there to thrill my mind to make my own, "Trading Company" or "Order of the Axe" to RP what they would othervice have as impact to the game world.
Sure, it's a sandbox, but for example, the "Order of the Axe" part would be a way to promote people being friendly to eachother and leaving Blues / Neutral people alone, it would also give those that chose to attack Blues, Neutrals more of a fighting force, "I need to watchout, is it worth it? if I kill this guy I will most likely get the Axe Squad after me, but he got so much items on him, I take the chance"
The trading company would make it easier and benefit those that chose to Trade over those that do it as an alternative way to earn their money, it's a playstyle, if you chose one, you should be rewarded, look at MO, they will have these Guilds you apply that require something out of you, specifik skill etc to be able to wear their title as your "class".
I imagine anyway, that this is what your version would be, the organizations would be a way to define yourself, distinguish yourself and make yourself different from other dwarfes.
Now sure, Racials will have an impact and those that chose the wrong race will be punished if their way of playing the game is not the way their racials are designed, if these are "premade classes" that you can chose to get, or rather, premade benefits you get if you want to, that are only accessible through your race, and maybe Racial Alignment, it's another limitation.
But, if you allow people to do( similar to wow) change race for a "small" sum of money, change race afterwards, then it won't be an issue, they get to chose if it's worth it or not, they should have paid attention to what their options were beforehand.

I read the notes on the expansion about housing and it says that taxes are due every 3 days and that you will lose your house after 8 days. well after only 3 days i get a message " you have lost your house" i could not recall to it and i rode up to it and the flag was green and said "taxes paid" it would not let me pay and the house name said " former house of Skoku Barak" this was 3 weeks ago and my house is completely gone now. the GM's said they could not do anything but to post on the support site. i did this and got the generic email response that they were working on it.... well i lost my location and its been weeks and still no response. why does it take so long for them to respond to problems like this?

Questions to some possible DF improvements.
1. I am aware you have plans to boost melee in incoming expansion, but for many people the basic melee mechanics are lacking. Since beta melee fights look like zig-zaging contest with sprint circling as the only options to dodge somebodies swings.
I understand that could be because of technology limitation: net code / latency problems, but would you consider below suggestions and if not why ?
a) revamping stamina system to make melee fights look more like melee fights. Stamina would be burnt down/regenerate much faster to make melee possible even against multiple opponents.
b) introducing dodge movement. Explanation: by double tapping direction keys your character would move really fast in that direction in order to avoid incoming attack. I would like to see not only directions like: left, right, back, forward but left-back, left-forward, right-back etc. Stamina cost and how far your character can move that way would be matter of balance.
c) revamping swing and block/parry mechanics. Explanation: right now whatever you do, you end trading blows with your opponent. You can't really evade his attack by stepping on the sides or backwards and counter-attack when he is recovering from his missed swing/chop. Same applies to the present block/parry mechanics, successful block/parry don't give you a chance to counter-attack without exposing yourself to trading blows with your opponent.
I would love to see in DF mechanic where successful block/parry reflects your opponent weapon and give you short time window to counter-attack when he is still recovering. To not make it too powerful your opponent could try to dodge your counter or even block/parry, however with shorter time window then usually.
d) any chance for directional swings / block and parry ? We have already swing, chop and thrust which is camouflaged as power strike.
I believe it would make melee much more interesting and strategic just by broadening and improving the basic melee mechanics.
2. I see the main feature of DF: a clan city/hamlet ownership and it extension village system ( with player housing ) as a missed opportunity for a persistent game content. Right now it is more then a burden to build, own or conquest a city/village/player house. They simply don't provide with enough benefits. Would you consider implementing some content usual for strategy games like:
- local banking ( I know it is coming soon )
- limited bank space for items ( not gold )
- player house storage space so owning a house would come with real benefits.
- use resources in the game as reason for conflict and fun content not as boring gathering action.
- city/hamlet/village NPC population which generates automatically taxes and resources which will lead to never ending conflict over limited resources which is probably the best idea for sandbox content ( see Eve Online, Shadowbane, Fallen Earth, Earthrise ).
- various types of villages which you can conquer and manage, upgrade. Farms, fishing villages, various mines, wood yards with different quality and purpose of wood, quarries temples, trading posts.
- network of connections between resources and different villages: you need food, wood and stone to run a mine, you need metal tools for your farms, wood yards, you need plenty of cheap wood or coal to melt down ore into pure metal bars, you need high quality wood ( for example: yew ) for bows production, you need high quality wood for ship building, constant flow of goods for your trading posts ( so they generate much more taxes ) etc.
- you need to defend your villages from player and monster raids, upgrade them to get better productivity, take care of morale of your NPC population by managing right level of taxes, supply them with needed goods/resources, completing quests/missions from your villages. Otherwise you will face low productivity, decreasing population or even a rebellion !
- a need to run caravans between your villages and clan vault to transport gathered there resources, produced goods and taxes.
- possibility to raid your enemy villages to pillage their warehouses, capture NPC population to work at your villages as slaves and conquer them.
- implementing trade system which would allow players to buy various goods from one NPC in one village/city and sell them with profit in another village. It would make being a trader will be more viable type of player style. Maybe a semi-dynamic supply and demand price system ?
- trade post villages on the cost so they can be easily accessible by ships so sea trade and piracy will be viable type of player style.

Will we see a change to skillgain once more?
For example, now are people able to debuff mobbs to get skill, to kill the same mobbs over and over again, and similar ways to gain skill easy.
How about a daily skill gain / mobb.
There was a suggestion like this earlier mentioned, that when you start to attack a mobb, or cast spells at it, you start out skilling quicker, then it's lowered every attack you do, with that specific attack / spell.
For example, cast a fireball at the mobb, the first hit would gain 4 times the usual skill gain, the second would do only half that, the third would do half that = 1, the usual skillgain, and the 4th attack would give you only half the usual skillgain, and each attack after this one, will give half of the previus amount until it's nearly 0.
What happens is that, you benefit from attacking different mobbs ( it would be a set variable in your journal( hidden ofc ) that keeps track of which spell you have used against each type of mobb, and if you change mobb you get the bonus skillgain again, same goes if you change spell.
If you do 5 fireballs, 5 firebolts and 5 corresive blast, you would get verry high skillgain to them.
Change to another type of mobb, repeat, change spawn.
And so on.
What could be done to enhance this would be to boost your damage against the target aswel with the same variable, so if you cast 20 fireballs at your target, your fireballs will do very high damage compared to the first 1-2 fireballs.
This would reflect how you get used to fighting that particular type of mobb.
It would only work on mobbs and not on players, and the total difference in damage would only be say 50%, the first fireball you do cause 50% less damage, but the ones you cast at the end would do 50% more damage then a usual fireball.
This would allow you to grind using magic, since that extra 50% damage would do a huge difference.

1. When will enchanting get some love? Becoming an enchanter requires spending a lot of time OUT OF GAME researching on google how it works, what to use, and the formulas...
2. Will enchanters ever have the ability to DISENCHANT magic items for their enchantment ingredients?
3. Will gems ever have a meaningful purpose other than ingredients for sithra handles? Most people consider them vendor trash, but they could be made useful in some other way...
4. Will we ever be able to add clan banners to armor/shields, or dye clothing/armor different colors?
5. Will there ever be any kind of fix to gaining alignment by binding at a chaos stone with another red and killing/reviving them over and over to become blue again?
6. Will there ever be role based administration of clan banks? I.E. "sergeants" can access a "sergeant" bag but not a "captain" bag. The problem with clan banks is giving access to your clan members means any of them could completely steal every item in the clan bank, so members either have DEPOSIT ONLY access or FULL LOOT access....it would be nice to have levels in between.
7. Will the rendering code for "shadows" ever be fixed? My machine can run Crysis with max settings/resolution @100fps but enabling shadows in darkfall brings it to it's knees...
8. Will darkfall ever be multi-core processor aware?
9. When will anti-aliasing work? All screenshots from the media section of the official website clearly have AA enabled, yet you cannot actually do this with the "customer client", why?
10. Will "debuff" spells ever be useful in pvp? "Witchcraft" and "necromancy" have many debuff spells, but in almost any pvp situation it would be more beneficial to cast a damage spell than a debuff... perhaps make them instant cast? At least make them consistent for splash radius...some debuffs splash, others require you to hit the hitbox of your target with a slow moving bolt which is ridiculously challenging and, again, it would be significantly more beneficial for that bolt you cast to have been a damage spell...

It is not a bug. It's called "spell immunity". Everyone has a natural chance of making debuffs not work on them. There are things that make this chance higher, such as spell immunity enchants, the arcane spell immunity buff, and i believe also mental protection and wisdom help to this.
It happens with all debuffs and it also happens on mobs(debuff a mob and check your system log, you'll see some times you won't debuff it).
Burden is still the shit if you manage to hit it. One of the most balanced and balancemaker spells in this game...

A question on clanstone booting...
My the clan I'm currently in controls five holdings. Our SGs spend a good amount of time booting people from clanstone to clanstone within our holderings. My question is whether or not this is an intended capability, or if you plan on implementing a change that doesn't allow this activity to happen.
My thought is if it's intended, why not give the SGs a break and let members of that clan press 'G' on a clanstone (or some other method of bringing up the menu) and choose a new controlled clanstone to bind at.
Also, godspeed on attempting to handle all these questions ;)
1. Are we ever going to get a public test server? This game needs one. It seems like patch's just aren't tested very much. The last few have broke more then they have fixed.
A public test server would significantly reduce errors like this patch that break the game more then it fix's it.
2. There is a rare bug with the darkfall client that causes some usb keyboards when plugged in while loading to add a 10 second+ gui toggle delay. I am personally getting tired of unplugging my keyboard every time i have to reload darkfall. Is this ever going to be fixed?

Will player momentum ever be added? Currently, one can execute a 180 degree turn without losing any momentum whatsoever. I believeadding momentum would do wonders for archery and melee combat, coupled with the addition of evasive manuevers such as double tap dodging (left and right), and double tap rolling (forward and back).

Are there plans to help the solo pk playstyle?
With the back damage AOE change, it is more difficult for a solo player to get a kill against a blocking target than ever. A player with teammates, who in danger of dying against a single opponent may simply block and allow his teammate(s) to finish off whatever is attacking him.
With the prevelence of magic it becomes practically an auto-loss for any solo pk attempting to fight against any numbers greater than themselves when this overpowered blocking mechanic is used against them. It is near impossible for a solo pk to get a kill against multiple opponents when their targets block early and its making the game very un-enjoyable that those who like the challenge of solo pking are met with an near impossible obstacle when they face any group contains players that have the sense to throw up a shield when they are being attacked by a single person when they are in a group.

whens the last time you played the game and read the updates coming to the game. All this, expect lootable housing and stealing (which isn't needed in dfo) has been metioned or no longer a problem.
Will anti-aliasing be fixed and actually work properly in the game? Is there any future plans for core graphics of the game, as in DX10 client or anything else? It is understood that the graphics are not "super amazing" because you want epic battles, but some people do like eye candy.

Will ships/warhulks ever be buffed so we have incentive to use them in a battle situation and not just PvB, it would add more to darkfall if warhulks were faster and cheaper to make and actually did damage to players not like 10 damage per hit same with ships.
It would be cool to start seeing ship battles or warhulks being used as tanks on the battlefield same with cannons in the back for artillery. One big problem with warhulks being used on the battlefield is that you can focus AoE's on the warhulk and hit everyone in it cause AoE's go through walls will that ever be fixed?

I posted this in the general forums also, but i think this would also be an appropriate place for it, as this may result in an official viewpoint of the developers on the topic.
Now that we know when the character transfers will take place (approx) and we know that it will be free (except for the subscriptions on NA server).
What I would like to know is will the account that my EU-1 character is on have to be active, i.e. have play time left on it, to be able to transfer it?
I understand that once i do so i will have to pay for a sub on the NA server with the character, but I would be somewhat annoyed if I had to subscribe for a month just so i can transfer the character and then also subscribe for a month on the NA server. I only query because i have an inactive EU account + character and id like the to transfer him to NA-1 and dont want to pay for a months subscription then waste it.
I hope i was clear on what im asking.

I feel this is a much needed change to how seiges work and would make for many fair fights for both sides. Currently the trend on EU is to hit them while they sleep which is lame imo.

What are you doing to attract new players? The game desperately needs a trial or something to gain new business.

Hey guys. I was justw ondering if any work was being done on the anisotropic filtering+shadows problem. When you enable these two together you get some weird lines drawn across the shadow area.
Think this is seen on both Nvidia and Ati cards even though some people do not have the problem afaik.
Was wondering if this is looked at by Aventurine or if it is a card driver problem?

I was wondering if there will be an adjustment to alignment for all players transferring to NA-1? The alignment players gained on one server has nothing to due with their actions on another server. Also, if alignment isn't wiped, where will players who transfer be placed in the world? Will red players be at random chaos stones, and blue players in starter towns?
I would like to see a fresh start for all players transferring, and have everyone who transfers start at their racial city with 0 alignment.

Are you aware of a bug where it takes forever to switch between hotbars visually.
Example I'm on hotbar 2, and to get to hotbar 9 it takes about 70 seconds..10 seconeds to scroll by each hotbar!

Dude. Go to options and fix your fade. It's not a bug. Ihve seen this. It can be corrected in GUI options I believe. I am not hone ATM but if yo can't figure out the option send me a pm and I'll log in later and find exact name

Why don't introduce check for people bind in cities/hamlets?
Less than 30 people after 24 hours you lose the city, less than 10 you lose the hamlet. Easy not?
This promote more pvp and more cities for newbs.

I like the addition of villages and being able to capture them and get gold deposited into your clan vault. Can you please expand this concept to other resource types as well? For example, add a building near water with a capture point that deposits fish when captured. Or a mine you can capture that deposits ore, and so on. In other words use the same mechanic as villages, but for other types of resource besides gold.
This allows gathering these resource types without "node clicking" but through PvP capture of control points.

I know this is a stupid question cause the city system is already in, but, I loved how you could build anywhere in Shadowbane, just want to know your thougts on that? Ofcourse the system would need changes, but it could add a lot to gameplay.

Whats the deal with the bow animation and sound effects? The first part of the "drawing the bow" sequence has a sound which doesn't match the animation. It sounds like you're stretching out the bow, but this is before the arrow is in place.
Also, the hit sounds have always been a bit cheesy.
Both very minor things, but I figured worth mentioning in here.

The present general melee mechanics is the main reason why people avoided engaging in it, which was even more exposed with present superiority of magic over other means of combat.
Are you going to take any steps to change it and make melee to feel more like melee fight, not like a zig-zag sprint contest which it is now ?
Any plans to change the present sprint and stamina mechanics which hugely contribute with the melee problems ?
Any plans for implementing side, back step dodge ability for fast avoiding your enemies attacks ?
Any plans to change the present block/parry mechanics to make it more reflex, player skill oriented ?
Any plans to tweak the recovery times ( delay ) between melee weapons' swings to make the melee combat more tactically oriented and prevent constant hit trading ?

When can we expect removal of the link between rank and vault access?
I'm sure most clans would love to make better use of the full range of in-game ranks without having to run the risk of too many people having Vault access. Customosise rank names needed also ;)
Will mages have to give up anything to use all of their spells in the upcoming expansion? Like hit point reduction, like archers are giving up mana?
Currently when you go into a dungeon or underground cave your mini map displays you and your group as if you are on the surface. Will there be any changes to the mini map.. maybe a layered map?

Have Darkfall Devs ever experimented with the idea of Darkfall being able to run the game on Dual/Quad cores? Seeing this game revolves around Siege warfare and massive battles so much it was make complete scene for this to happen.
Sadly I know that in order to implement this would technically be re-do the entire game engine. Would be nice to know their thoughts on this though and if its been tried in the past? Or if it would really offer us much more?

I would like to know if the alignment/con system will be getting any work done to it. Have not see a post on it but things I would like to see:
-Any player non-allied in your Clans city should turn grey to you.
-If a blue player attacks a Red player this should give the Red player the ability to kill that player without penalty.
I don't think its broken right now but it makes no sense for me to go red with I am defending my towns mine or city for that matter.

3) Will an overhaul of the chat system in game come soon? Its currently pretty awfull in all aspects. So few people use public/race/race alliance chat. And if they did they would have 10+tabs needing to cycle through.
4)When will more quests with usefull rewards be added to the game? It needs 100s. Not just 8 new ones added every 3 months.
5) when will runestones be given 2-3 uses per runestone instead of the current 1?

quit QQ'ing about "when will the questions be answered". its embarrassing really :) they create this forum, hire the new staff, demonstrate a serious commitment to improving communications and, in typical forumfall fashion, everyone is happy but then mere days after already the QQ'ing begins. years of following forumfall has proven that nothing changes, the predictability is amazing.
they'll answer them when they can. put in your questions and wait. I'd guess they'll, eventually, consolidate them and pick the top 5 or 10 and put them in a post, then after a bit take the next 5 or 10, and so on. you're not gonna see all the answers immediately, it'll likely be a slow stream of answers over time.

Sorry if this has already been asked but it is something I am highly curious about.
I am assuming name changes will have to happen with Xfers, simply due to people copying names. If it only worked for people with copied names then people would just have their friends make their chars names on the new server to ensure this.
My real question is in regards to Race changes with transfers. If I am allowed a name change I believe a race change should be facilitated as well. Maybe add an extra charge or something, but I do not want the common "just reroll" answer.
The race abilities priorly listed have not been implemented and are soon to be. Since this game has so many changes that are/going to happen , I don't believe it should be out of the realm of possibility to allow race changes.
I was a mahrim at first, due to Range being dictated by Camera Angle they had the worst melee reach. This caused me extreme frustration, especially against Alfars. After three weeks of frustration I rerolled to Alfar, only 2 months or so after that, Mahrims range was corrected.
I was a bit bitter at first but I just dealt with it. With a new server I will want a new name and a new race, but my 8 months of grinding I just simply will not reroll. Losing every single item I possess I believe is enough of a penalty.
A moderator had stated that if they put in the racial abilities listed on the site then race changes should not be allowed. I still feel they should even if somehow they do align with the website. Simply due to the fact it has taken this long for the abilities to be implemented, I feel we are owed as much after we get a feel for the abilities and go with what fits our play style. We are already only limited to one character, so I see no reason to not allow race changes.
Sorry if this came off rude, I tried to word it as best as possible but I grow tired of forum trolls spamming my threads about this saying "rerollqqnew."
I would like an honest answer either way, one with actual backing,

Going to go anime on you guys, but one thing that I would like to see in this game is animations and lots of it. What I mean by animation is graphical and visually stunning animations. For example fireball, have some type of animation where when you shoot the spell, dust rises around you or another example shards which is a water spell, a nice animation to see would be drops of water falling from the path it was shot from. It doesn't all have to do with spells either. Another example I have in mind is whirlwind, make some time of animation that would make smoke or clouds form as if it was an actual whirlwind.
For my question is simple: Will animations like stated above ever be seen in this game? Why or why not?

The game has seen zero advertising. Thus its slowly dieing, account by account.
NA has roughly 1k actives online at any given time which is far under the intentioned goal of 10k concurrent users.
No matter what else AV does to make the game better they need to bring in new players before it is far too late.
So simple question, how does AV plan to address this?
And no word of mouth doesnt work.

Is there going to be an attempt to make race and alignment more meaningful. Something so that attacking a blue 10' from the city gates actually has more consequence than killing an alt for 5 mins to get alignment back?
Linked to this: How are you going to introduce people to DFO more gently? The painful and steep entry to the world is scaring off some before they have any idea how good the game is. By steep I mean the UI (especially Chat which needs to be normalised with other games' UIs). By painful I mean having more advanced players praying on them the minute they go to their first goblin hunt.

What is AV going to do about the hacks/radars/etc. Is AV looking at integrating a Punkbuster like tool with the client? In my opinion - this is the absolute #1 issue that needs to be addressed.

When will Aventurine change the siege system and/or the scheduled maintenance time so that EU-players stop having around 20 less and OCN-players stop having around 50 less hours per week than US players have to schedule stage two of a siege?
(In the calculations sleep- and work-times are not included, i.e. 1 am to 5 pm every weekday and 3 am to 11 am saturday and sunday)

Will Necromancy and Witchcraft be reworked such that debuffs are a viable and useful part of PvP? Right now they're only moderately useful and generally only in group PvP or PvE. I continue to use them in the hopes that one day they'll be worth my while (and I have fun with them), but would like to get some sort of indication from AV that they are aware of the issues and will be addressing them.

Is there, or has there ever been plans to make dungeons more exciting and flavorful? What i mean by this, is are there any plans to put in Boss mobs that drop gear that you cannot craft, that are full durability? Im probably going to get flamed for saying this, but the large amounts of unique looking boss monsters in age of conan made that part of their game quite fun and intersting. (especially when they have their own custom loot tables) I also would like to see more abstract and interactive ways of navigating a dungeon, like for instance having to click a lever, or break some barrels or whatnot to reveal secret passages. I would also like to see locked treasure rooms (similiar to some seen in the center of agon with gold and jewels and equipment locked behind bars, and when killing a boss monster you can open these rooms to access this type of loot. (the treasure chests in the game right now are all one loot table, i think they should be scaled based on where they are located and give better stuff in the harder locations they are in..

Will ships/warhulks ever be buffed so we have incentive to use them in a battle situation and not just PvB, it would add more to darkfall if warhulks were faster and cheaper to make and actually did damage to players not like 10 damage per hit same with ships.
It would be cool to start seeing ship battles or warhulks being used as tanks on the battlefield same with cannons in the back for artillery. One big problem with warhulks being used on the battlefield is that you can focus AoE's on the warhulk and hit everyone in it cause AoE's go through walls will that ever be fixed?
2nd'd. AOE's going through objects needs to be addressed.
Sliding dead monster behaviour: Do they slide after death because you want to add a client-side ragdoll animation in future and the current slide animation is a placeholder? ^_^

Does it make sense that players can do this multiple times in a day, every day? Would it make sense to permanently flag repeat offenders as permanent offenders, and always red?

Is it intentional that if you use transmuted weapons to knock someone back for example in town you are perma flagged rogue for 2 mins for the one hit as it obviosuly counts as 2 and you will be certain to die to towers in any npc town whereas I hit with an untransmuted weapon will see you rogue for only 10 seconds.
This is another stupidity just like the debuffs not making you rogue in town.
PLZ PLZ FIX FFS.

I was curious about that before beta. A spear or javelin that could be wielded with a shield as a melee weapon and maybe the spear could be thrown if you put the shield away and the javelin could be thrown with the shield out. You just simple switch to throw attack much like you do with whirlwind and have to carry a stack of spears/javelins like you do arrows (they would be heavier of course).
Are you going to enable save password feature for logging into the game?
Also are you going to remove the disclaimer and perhaps, include it somewhere on the splash screen?
This will make logging in quicker, it probably doesn't sound like much but it all counts :)

If you're a fighter and you die, you can use your leafblade. If you are a mage and you die, you can fall back to mana missile and self heal. If you are a healer and you die ... you are completely stuffed until you get more regs.
Will we see things that complement and encourage a healer playstyle added? Things like (perhaps) a no reagent mini heal other, area heals of various sizes (target, splash area, and wider area)?

(being able to jump over an alfar as an orc or mahirim is hardly an ability, and more like an inate gift of heritage)

(the one we have now is cheated easily for thoes who wish to exploit.)

(this is suppose to be an eliete PvP game, yet I only see people at the top who cheated and exploited their way to get there.)
4) see Racial Alliance capital to capital teleportation
(rune stones work well and all, but it just seems that a nation allied with another nation, could afford a perma nexus)
5) see abilitys to defy shield blocking
( the one and only elemental magic school I got was air, for its L1 nuke, that had no AoE and was unblockable, but then I was screwed and it was patched over. [Then I gave up on magic altogether]
On the same page, will over head swing ever ever be able to bypass a blocking shield, and like wise will the shield ever have multipul positions of blocking. I.E. head/body/legs)
6) see a friends list chat tab
(8months in and still I cant talk to my friends on a consolidated tab...
Come on DEV... get with the program.)
7) see game play for non clan alliances
(Where this game is founded on MASS PvP clan VS clan, people have found many other ways to play to their own realistic desires.
I.E. Solo Griefers, people whom like to be self sufficent and take on any and all challanges by them self by being a single member of their own clan.
To mention a few of the favorite past times, all once possible in pre-patches.
a)Mount killing and harassment, why could I not attack and kill a mount that you are on, if you stole it from me?? bottom line debate for mounts.
mounts dont belong in town, if you dont want it stolen or killed, dont dismount @ bank, do it in private, its not rocket science to keep a mount alive.
b)no system message alert to plundering city resources, this game was made with out a radar for a reason, but yet system alerts are a form of radar...
c) Im sure there was a "C"... I draw a blank now thoe...
8) see a truely stealth game play.
( I dont think it approiate that if a player is able to sneak into a city past al players and threats alike, that when he goes to plunder his booty @ a mine/grove/querry/farm/ that the clan should be notified AROUND THE WORLD whats going on at their base.
Its one thing for a player to witness, and then spam in his clan chat that they are being stolen from. there is no logistical reasoning for a clan member to be aware of what is going on where they are not present, by a magical heads up alert system. I would say take the notifications out, or I could even debate lets meet in the middle and say, only notify the clan members who are actaully within the city limits.)
9) see flying / swimming mounts.
mounts that fly or swim, that are just as fast as mounts on land, and you have a three dimentional field of movement, X Y and Z cords...)
10) see world events, or world dieasters.
(events that can swade the luck of many for good or bad, such as volcanos erupting, or tsunamis crashing ashore, or earth quakes or hail storms or firestorms)
11) see EPIC spell casting
(something like a party spell conjuring.
I.E. 10 players all with 100 Fire magic, combine efforts in casting a NEW spell like Firestorm which will be for giant PvP, such as city sieges, or just for harrassing a full tile of players.)
12)Specialized magic spells
(I.E. Water magic being able to be casted underwater,
Air Magic having a natural 50% volocity rate,
Earth magic being able to do more damage the harder the surface you stand.
Fire, doing something firey...)

How soon can we expect the title quests to be fixed? When first applied the buff actually applies (in both stat screen and difference) but upon a reload/relog it no longer applies. For instance the Health gained from the Vitality achievement buffs, Stamina from Quickness and Mana from Intelligence.
When will we get more info about the upcomming expansion?

Are the changes to items in the upcoming expansion going to be applied to items currently in game? Some people have spent a huge amount of time and resources building up a stock of PvP bags and if the changes are not applied retroactively then all their stuff becomes pre-patch trash.
