Septemeber 21, 1597: William Dun, The Dean of Guild, recieves a bonus of 47 pounds, 3 shillings, and 4 pence for "The unusually large number of witches burned this year."


September 21, 1915: Cecil Chubb purchases Stonehenge at an auction for 6600 pounds. He donates it to Great Britain 3 years later.


September 21, 1947: Stephen King born.


September 21, 1983: James Watt, President Reagen's Secretary of the Interior, describes the diversity of his staff to the Chamber of Commerce. "I've got every mixture you can have. I've got a black, a woman, a cripple, and 2 Jews. And I've got some talent too." He is forced to resign 18 days later.


September 21, 1989: Saudi Arabia publically beheads 16 Kuwaiti terrorists for the bombing of the Great Mosque in Mecca 2 months earlier. The terrorists claim to have been trained and sent by Iran. The Iranian Secretary disavows all knowledge of their actions.

Considering that would be before the Gregorian calendar, it'd be kinda hard to work out "this day".

Well I'm pretty sure a hell of a lot more happened ''on this day''. Just add up all the significant events that happened in history, divide by 365 and I'm sure you'd get a lot more than 5. More significant ones aswell I'm sure.
