Just frapsed some random fights the last 2-3 days, wanted to make a video for the fun in it. Was kinda okey to play with 60FPS once you get used to it. :)

One question though.. How the hell do you get 60 fps when frapsing?

I get 60 fps constantly when not frapsing and not in a siege. When I'm frapsing I get like 25-45 depending on how many people are around.

My setup:

intel q6600 cpu (quad core @ 2.40ghz)
ATi Radeon HD 4870 1GB
8GB RAM (just upgraded ^^ it gave me like 15 more fps when frapsing)
Windows Vista Ultimate x64

Nino I don't know, I'm new to this. The FPS is down to 25-45 while fighting depending on situation, but if there is nobody around and in the wild, I get 60 fps max.

Does fraps automatically lock your fps to whatever speed you're recording?

Other than that, I'd say to record at 60 you will want to have more than 60 without having fraps running.

Kinda wierd that you are frapsing noobownage but whatever makes your boat float I guess.

Just recently turned blue to take care of some buissness in humanlands. Kinda fascinating to see all the guilds that comes down to the newbie spawns looking for pvp. For example zzzz, khans and aesir, you all live close to the middle why not pvp there?

It's been doing that to me.... if I set the speed to 25, DF will also display that fps in system, and if I raise it to 30 it'll show 30, etc...

My Fraps never records any audio. I'd like to record the game audio because I think it adds to it sometimes. Not that I can now. :(

you just have to set the FPS you ideally want fraps to record in on the righthandside in the frapswindow. Check the box below 60 FPS and type in whatever value you want your FPS to be (Should be realistic though).

In fear of making this a fraps Q and A thread: I can't record any other sound than my own mic with fraps, anyone knows how to fix?

I'd blame the cpu, darkfall only uses one core. Still you should be able to get decent fps by tweaking core affinity with fraps. it's on the forums here somewhere
