Welcome to Monopoly City Streets. You versus the world in the biggest live game of MONOPOLY in history!

On the 9th SEPTEMBER, a world of property empire building on an unimaginable scale will be launched! A live worldwide game of MONOPOLY using Google Maps as the game board. The goal is simple. Play to beat your friends and the world to become the richest property magnate in existence.

Own any street in the world. Build humble houses, crazy castles and stupendous skyscrapers to collect rent. Use MONOPOLY Chance Cards to sabotage your mates by building Hazards on their streets.

Great I bought three streets in my neighbourhood. It is to bad slow as hell atm.

Bleh, couldn't buy anything in Qatar. Bought a street in Teheran instead.

They are looking at doing a reset. They were surprised by the mass load they got on the first day and it lagged it out for a lot of people. Consider whatever you buy practice for the real thing.

I myself will be buying up some prime Alaskan frontier.

How does one get rent, exactly? That is, what makes someone to have to pay you rent?

You get rent every day per the value of your houses on your road.

I've just finished buying up a small town in Alaska. :D

So what's the point? You buy a few streets, get rent, buy more streets, etc? Sounds like everyone plays a single player game simultaneously with no real purpose.

Top leaders get owned by people dropping 100 hazzards on their streets.
