Once again I must call upon the forces of Forumfall to aid me. I'm looking for a movie. It was sort of a horror movie, but I think it might have been slightly comical as well. There are 2 things I can clearly remember.

1. The guy in the movie heard a sound coming from a closet. There was clearly something inside it. So he built a small fort with a machine gun pointed at the closet and waited. Then a second guy showed up and (I think) they opened the closet only to find nothing.

2. The guy was a Vietnam veteran, at the end of the movie there was some sort of flashback of Vietnam.

It was a fairly old movie.

The only possible movie I could think of that came out from that event in history was Jarhead.

I racked my brain and I still have no idea. Can you give more specific descriptions? I can't think of a single movie where a guy builds a fort infront of a closet and points a machine gun at it... sounds like an acid trip.

Awesome, that's the one. Although it wasn't a machine gun lol, but a normal gun.
