No one cares about your shitty guild and what shitty guild you killed one night before running away from a shitty naked zerg back to your half built shitty little city.
We have guilds like Apollo and EXGS talkin all sorts of mad shit but neither have the balls to throw their alliance at the other?
What's up with VG? They showed up talking shit and got shat on by the entire server and they couldn't take the time to get their alliance organized to get out and attempt revenge? Are you all just going to take the abuse like a school girl?
Maybe all the EU guilds are right and all the prissy failed guilds did move to NA. No one is willing to lay it out on the line yet.....

There isn't really a point to siege anymore. Hyperion wanted to conquer, so people revolted. There is no Hyperion to kick things off for NA. The clans that wanted a city already got a city, and some cities and hamlets are still unclaimed. There just isn't an incentive to siege at the moment since the population is shitty.

This.
There are only a few clans that are actively out PvPing every day.
The Red Army is, for the most part, playing Sim City on Yssam, saw my first wall of fire during a raid on VG's city. Give it another few weeks for everyone to be satisfied with their magic, and maybe, just maybe, we'll start seeing some decent PvP happening.
Until then, your gonna have to go to enemy cities to find any PvP.

Bleh, disgusts me.
I sit here proudly with my level 40 lesser magic, and yet manage to get just as many kills as fire mages with my great-axe.
I swear, the first motherfucker that shoots a volcano at me is getting murked, hard.

i blame this on the impending transfers, we all are trying to get to a point where we will be competitive then . . . . The fuckers on EU with their macroed and exploited stats are gonna fuck up this server even more. We need a bigger fresh population, Theres no point to sieging ifthere are still cities to be taken.

Damn you! your just a fat rednekk!
Bah, on the other hand, sounds like someone is bitter that they were killed by BkS and AoD, and wants the favor to be returned.
Could be wrong, doesnt matter too much to me, Im always up in dwarflands anyways... But, by chance, what guild are you in?

I have never been killed by BkS. I prefer anonymity, that way I can bash everyone I want on the forums. I've simply saw everyone swimming about under the docks, afk casting self heal.
If you get bitter by getting killed in this game, you should probably rethink your preferred MMO experience.
Edit. Sweet, you're the second person to call me fat and redneck tonight.
Proud off it!

Don't know about yall, but for the last week I've headed a combat grouping into pvp consisting of 4 to the grand total of 13 tonight, I've done this just about every night for the last week.
We're still learning the ropes of pvp sadly.

At this point anything anyone says about transfers is pure speculation. Who's to say Adven doesn't nerf stats and bump everyone down to 50 in each school blah blah. We already know theres going to be "restrictions", so freaking out before we know the facts is useless. Bottom line, this is our server, and if those exploited asshats, in all their elemental glory, come over here thinking they're going to stomp a mudhole in someone's ass, well hopefully some of us can set aside our differences and turn the tables.

throw your alliance at someone? That sounds like you just want zerg-warfare, not real pvp.
Sorry bud, there is plenty of pvp on the NA1 server, and its not shitty 1st week pvp. Most of my guildies have high level elemental magic and melee weapon mastery. The new skill building is accelerated character development and that is what people are focusing on. There are not enough people on NA1 to warrant territory imperialism, everyone has more than enough territory. All pvp is for raiding, for loot and for fun.
I do not suggest people "throw zergs at one another" just so forum trolls can have more posts to troll in clan discussion.

You can usually find PvP at the more active clan cities (Sunthrone, Marithain, Erinthel, Andruk, etc) or on Cairn/Yssam.
I'm not necessarily saying it's good pvp, but it's there. If you go to one of the islands, be prepared to fight large forces.

Actually, most of the pvp I've encountered have been macroed fire magics who can't aim for shit. The other day me and another giuldy used archery (both under 50 archery but had rank 40 bowS) and killed 6 zergs. 3 of which were shooting fireballs.

VG did the "war constantly for 3 months straight with no rest or time to grind skills" deal, and we're not repeating it this time.
So our goal is to put aside as long as we can to work towards being competitive in the game skill-wise. Because, once you start a conflict in this game, chances are you will never cease to be in conflict for the remainder of the server's life, so you need to be competitive characters before you start any wars, because once you start a war it is very hard to grind skills
Long-term waring will lead to eventual defeat. Whoever starts the first conflict is fucked for the remainder of the game (See Hyperion/CC). No matter how good you are tactically, if you start wars too early it will lead to your eventual defeat logistically by a logistically superior enemy that over comes any experiance or tactical prowess you have (See Cairn/SB/Afghan v. CC). No matter how good you are, your ability can be overcome through logistics.
Which is why we have secured ysaam, to ensure we are competitive for the remainder of the game, to grind skills and raid on occasion just to keep our members pvp fit.

Yeah, because CC/DUSK was really quality and was only beaten because they were outnumbered.
Bad example.

Yeah, how like AV to do it half ass. I've looked over the village system pretty thoroughly and unless the village is completely built up the gold output is pretty pathetic.
Here's what would help make those things bigger pvp hot spots.
- Put them on the world map (filterable of course) with a color change/illumination when they're open.
- Have the guild name over the node on the map. That kind've shit is largely about bragging rights.
- Alter villages so that certain ones are worth x type of rare ore/iron/wood/whatever. Diversify so there's a reason to be super competitive over specific nodes based on need. Also gives limited access to rare ores for active pvp guilds.
Also,
Skill gain increase on mobs/in certain dungeons
Also, some kind of freaking skill limitation so there's a some element of specialization other than which skills you grind first. This is really late in the game to still not have your shit together. Even a limit on have many 'active' skills you can have where you can swap them out at an NPC or something.

I cant talk for the rest of the red army but I know carnage is out in small scale partys mainland agon every day. Yea we rape crappy citys like sunthrone and brockmoor and a few on ice but its really us going out from ..yes ill say it.. a well defended country to kick ass. We go out in small bands of 2-12 and pk and raid all day.. We definity DO NOT tolerate enemys on the home lands but thats to be expected of such a well rounded group of clans/ We work well together not like the riff raft on agon.
If ya want some dont bother with yassam just hang out and raid mainland and youll find us. I cant count how many time we run into other raiding partys and have a pitched battle out there . It alot of fun!
